I’m watching this in Vision Pro. I also found out by accident that you can tap and swipe in apps. But you can also just walk up to the Home Screen and do the same swipe gesture there. The weather doesn’t seem to match real world. It rains periodically in Mount Hood for me all the time. Mount Hood is probably my favorite environment. I sometimes just hang out in the environments they are just relaxing in their own. Last thing I discovered while watching your video is the screen recordings playback in 3D on my end too. I could see th dinosaur just like I can in the app. Vision OS has a level of polish iOS hasn’t had in years. Loved this video !!!

I did the demo the other day at an Apple Store.... I love the Vision Pro and will get one. I did notice it made my face sore after awhile. It felt like it was putting too much pressure on my face. Have you had problems with discomfort after you have worn them for awhile?

It starts to rain in Mount hood as soon as no apps are open. That's the case for all environments. When no apps are running, you can see that the resolution of the environments increases and becomes more realistic. You most notice this at night when looking at the stars.

FINALLY ! A review video that doesn't rag on the "Eyesight" feature. I wish the others would just shut up because a lot of us think it's great and I don't want Apple to think those reviewers speak for everyone because they absolutely do not. If they don't like it, all they have to do is shut it off in settings and get out of the way so everyone else can enjoy it. When I first set up my "Persona" my girlfriend came up to me and said, "Oh ! I can see your eyes ! That's so cool !". It definitely needs to be improved. It doesn't work anywhere near as well as Apple advertised but it's already better in the V1.1 beta and will probably improve from there.

It’s to Show you the battery level orange if under a certain percentage Apple definitely doesn’t want this headset used for Fitness. If you put one on for two minutes you’d realize that is the very furthest thing they were thinking when they built it.

I have a few questions: 1) What happens when you have a FaceTime call with multiple people whereby some have a Vision Pro and some use their iPhone? Do you still get all the features like special audio and directly looking at specific people? 2) Can you connect AirPods Pro with Vision Pro to avoid sound bleeding from the built-in speaker pods? And do you get special audio when doing so? 3) Can you view something together with someone else wearing Vision Pro as well? E.g. you sit at home on the sofa with a friend, both wearing a Vision Pro, can you join the same environment and see the same, such as a movie?

Careful taking the light seal off. It's there to protect your eyes if you fall. So there's some distance. Otherwise you get poked in the eyes.

Sam, the Lightning-like battery plug has many contacts on it. So how about the plug that connects to the headset? Does that also have so many contacts? If it's just meant for power then that makes no sense. If it does have multiple contacts then the cable could possibly be connected to a device Apple hasn't yet released...

One crazy thing I noticed when I was watching a movie was the color from the movie was cast in my room. I was watching Dune and when it was a desert scene there was a yellow tent on object in my room around the screen. It was nuts and made me feel like I literally had a big screen in my actual room.

Actually, you can use an external power bank to charge the battery. It's like a laptop, but the battery is "over provisioned" so it uses less of the physical capacity, but lasts way longer, and charges much faster to "full"

I just hope they can have an update for immersive environments so you can see yourself when you look down 😅😅 it’s kind of scary not able to see yourself when you looking down. Btw for those of you don’t know about this, you can connect the battery to the wall (or power bank) while using Vision Pro

On iOS you can double tap, but on the second tap hold your finger down, and then swipe up/down to zoom in and out. This makes it so you can zoom with 1 hand. I tried this in visionOS and couldn’t get it to work but maybe it was app specific issue there

The battery pack has an IMU in it because that’s only way it can track on a plane. That’s why quest can’t, the optical tracking isn’t fast enough on its own

just this yesterday, and its def not worth it. in the future if they add more features and apps and more stuff is avaible i think it would. beworth it if they make. acheaper 1500-2500 version. This is only good for movies so far and only apple tv movies/shoews. the bad part is that its sooo heavy and it hurts my cheek bones and neck bones and forhead bone lol after i use it for an hour or two... hoping i get used to it but ya ima prob return it in the next few days if i dont get used to it

Let me give a tip for you. that has a Vision Pro, when you FaceTime someone with the visionPro I’ve seen a bunch of people asking how they look like through the FaceTime camera with the persona, and you can see your own persona on FaceTime just turning my camera off during a FaceTime call, and you will be able to see my persona in real time. Nobody has talked about this yet.

I whent to the Apple Store in nyc on 5th avenue and I found out the biggest flaw in the Apple Vision Pro. If you have lazy eye you can only use it without contacts in. There no lenses you can pop in. If you do not get a headache after you taken off your glasses for a wile and your visions not blurry you still can’t use it. Since one eye move differently then the other the device can’t use eye tracking. Big miss so my daughter and wife can’t use it. Can’t even try it out. It just won’t work. They told me they have made it work with lots of disabilities even people with one eye. So this is a big miss.

I asked the expert in the Apple Store about the 30w brick and he said they chose that small size on purpose, because higher wattage bricks caused the battery pack to overheat and shorten its lifespan. So I'm fine with the smaller one.

People must stop using this too much. this will affect your eyesight. I have been using a Samsung VR for some time. it's not great for your eyes. it is better to wait until someone finds a way to integrate into our brains directly. Anyone over 35 years old will know it's harmful to their eyes when they remove it after a long session. I don't see any of the KZbinrs saying about this. no one cares about the common public health other than their pocket. this tech won't work safely for humans until this works with our brain directly something like a headset is shown in the Amazon series 'THE PERIPHERALS'. Our eyesight is more expensive than any VR headset even if it's from APPLE.
