The tune is definitely from В путь. В путь was written in 1954 and Rebroff who didn't release music till 1967 just put his own spin with the lyrics.

I am very much interested by the full lyrics in Russian of this song "Schysn Kasaka Apassna" (Жизнь казака опасна) exactly as Ivan Rebroff sings them. I sincerely hope that someone will could help me or who will could post the lyrics in Russian below this video. All my thanks in advance.

I will do some research. I know that he recorded this in German also but it doesn't work as well. In German the song is called "Kosaken Müssen Reiten" which means "Cossacks Must Ride". The Russian for this title, which you have above, translates as "The like of a Cossack is Dangerous". I discovered Rebroff when I was in high school and the album I got had this as the first track. I wanted to BE Rebroff.
