Linda Goodwin I like both but I think Melania is just guarded because it’s not easy to trust anybody. So many hateful people are out there to twist her words or criticize everything ; her accent, her demeanor, her silence, her face, her clothes, etc. Both could be a good FLOTUS. Ivana seems very likable and friendly but who knows how she is in real life except the people close to them.

You people commenting are such immature, stupid haters. No marriage works well when both partners are working all of the time, & then when they do have time alone, they continue talking shop. It has very little to do w/ anyone being a "bad" person. People need to connect on a regular, personal basis to make any marriage work. For these two, it just didn't happen. I think it's a great tribute to all involved that none of them disparages the other(s). If Donald was such a cad toward any of them, we would likely have heard about it from one of them. We have not. I can’t figure out why… But I really like this woman. I hope that if Melania divorces Donald she can open up and be as outgoing as this woman. Ivana just seems very down to earth and smart. @@kirakeynow And it seems like a TON of Hollywood movies are about a man raising his daughters alone because his wife/their mother is dead. Half the time when a movie's central character has a parent with a minor role, it is only their older father that is still alive. Since Hollywood men can't write a story with any woman over the age of 20 in it, they kill all the other women off before the story even begins. That's not realistic, since women outlive men. When they DO write about a mother-in-law, she's always depicted as someone awful and annoying. Yet all the old men in films are people that are authorities on something; people that offer sage advice. Older women are witches, or something scary. Meanwhile, this Drumpf presidency, with his old iguana lizard looking a*s that I have to look at, and his weird little hands where he overgestures in an attempt to do a caricature of a New Yorker (he wasn't THAT "New York" years ago, lol), and his creepy pervy voice (and I mean the voice where he DOESN'T yell), and the pursed lips ......I've decided that, for ME, the pursed lips are the WORST of all of his gross qualities.......that's the REAL horror movie. I have a friend whose sister said she'd rather be gangbanged by midgets than have sex with Donald Drumpf. I have to agree.

Never knew much about her,listening to interviews now, .I see a confident, likable and honest woman. We could have been friends in the right circumstances. I’m admiring her candidness about painful parts of her life. Didn’t know she was an Olympian in skiing.
