People should not critise Anathema for "selling out". This is Anathema. Whether it's doom, prog or whatever. Anathema is about the feel and soul of music. Not about what type and label you want to give them.

My first love left me a couple of years ago after 18 years of being together. We used to listen to Anathema back then. Now it's become so hard to listen to these songs... they remind me so much of her and how much we loved each other. Once again, emotions are overwhelming me and tears are falling as I'm listening to this and thinking back about all the beautiful moments we shared. You'll always remain a part of me.

The song caught me by total surprise. At first I was singing to a new girl that I recently met or one I would like to meet than later found myself singing to my wife that I loved and adored that suddenly and unexpectadly passed away 4 years ago on October 1st. Though I have tears streaming down my face I feel a bit of cleansing! This is one song I will sing along and not share with anyone. Very sad but I feel a closeness to her again and will forever with this piece!

This song was recently shared with me by a really kool guy. Strange that you can 'know' someone all of your life and yet never really know them. You then reflect on your life and wonder, 'Why am I so odd, so weird in comparison to many others?' Then you meet someone so similar minded as yourself and the 'weird' stripes away. And the 'normal' your kind of normal sets into all of your crevices. Sometimes life picks us up from the direction we've been headed and throws us head first into 'our true place' Thank you to that awesome kool guy. He is a gem

Death doom back there on early 90s EPs, demos and singles, and both 1993-1995 albums. From 96 to 2001 they became doom metal and from there... atmospheric rock, post rock whatever you wanna name them. Whatever they were or they are, they've always been awesome!

It seems just yesterday when I was listening to the sheer awe at the musicianship of We, the Gods and Mine is yours to drown in. Was such a beautiful expression of music I had heard. Then, they were better than their genre leaders, My Dying Bride. Nothing has changed. Anathema are still exemplary musicians with stunning songwriting and emotive elements. I loved them then, I love them now. Sensational record.

Just discovered this band while searching through Steve Wilson's videos. Totally excellent amazing music. Their seems to be a correlation between these bands for excellent top notch music. This kind of music makes me excited as I have ever been about the talent and creativity of prog music today. Too bad those of us in the United States just do not get it. Europe and the rest of the world are miles ahead with access, concerts, and radio play with music that really matters.

This is just an incredible harmony - Ghost Brigade used the same 4 chords and melody in their song "22:22 - Nihil" - but it has an complete different (darker) feeling! Everyone who likes Untouchable should definitely check it out because it shows how awesome music can be - and how different even if it's somehow the "same"! It's really the exact same harmony just 1 whole step higher (for everyone who knows what that means)!!!
