4 infinite things: - time - space - money of mr beast - Ivan's red filament

Federal Reserve Notes are not "money" they are instruments of debt. Hence the reason they are called "bills" or "notes". Time is a man-made construct which merely signifies platitudes in a given system and in no way is infinite. Have you ever seen space to be able to claim its an "infinite thing"?

Flux core welders are perfect for quick fabrication and require minimal setup or skill. They produce strong welds, require no shielding gas, and work outdoors, with crappy metal, etc. Results look fine with practice and they are cheap. Here in the USA a flux core welder that runs on household 120vac is about $100

@WorkshopGreg3 жыл бұрын
Ivan, I'm concerned about those bent joints in the box tubing for the frame - they don't look very durable. Might be better to cut them out and weld it together or perhaps use some brackets to fasten the different pieces together?
@KageStelhman3 жыл бұрын
Hey Ivan, just a little tip to find your balance on your "Tank Board" (as I call it :) ), your feet are way too far apart, you should be standing with them shoulders width apart with your back foot near the orange tread and your front foot closer to the center of the deck, small of the back, hips, knees and ankles relaxed. It takes a little getting used to but it makes those super tight turns absurdly easy.

It's funny to think that this is just two skateboard trucks with four skateboard wheels. Everything else is just a way to carry a flat road for them everywhere you go. Also quick tip about sanding: if you fold the sand paper in three (basically a |_| shape, one side folds down, then another over it. NOT accordion or Z fold) it will be easier to hold and you'll use up way more of it instead of just one spot in the center.

Hi Ivan, the result is excellent but I would try to reduce the lateral dimensions of the two iron bars; while you can widen the central area a little, you should make sure that the most protruding parts of the metal profiles remain closer to each other and if this is not possible, in order not to limit the turning radius, they do not remain so close to the ground. to improve climbing agility perhaps a small reduction in wheelbase could be used

There is such a thing as a mountain board, they usually have straps to tie your feet down to the board and keep board and rider as one. I think you should incorporate some more of the features on those boards on your board. Things like suspension, brakes a better shaped board and more! I also think that you should try to create a treaded version of a one wheel some how like a bigger, faster, motor maybe a curved tread or two thin treads for skid steering but you would need to figure it out. I think that would be a great way to do things.

hey there? thats my first over here, so i dono what motors you put in and other stuff, but here are some recomendations from a diy e-mountainborder: first the motor, it seems like it has quite a good amount of torq but a low max speed, guess a low kv motor (no, thats not kilovolt! its the amount of turns per volt given to it) it looks very slow but quiet. next are the bushings i guess, it looks very soft and unstable (means as to how much weight is needed to be put to one side to turn it) with how wide it is you should have something stiffer, not shure if it will fit on a skateboard suspension(kinda forgot how they are called in english lol), btw if you ever need the rods (where the tires are normally) to be longer look for mountainboards and not skateboard. the turnradius is reeeeaallly baad, but thats to be expected with this size, i thought about building a tanktrack for atleast my backtyres (i have 2 motors in the back) but i dont have a 3d printer nor a place where i could do a bit of metalwork done, coz the suspension would break with just plastic tracks are awesome, but not at this size, and you cant drive around town Good work and have fun doing more EDIT: just remembered that i forgot to tell you, that you could make a lil vertical stop on the sides of the board so that your feet dont get pqast that point and a roof on that vertical stopper so that your feet is secured as long as you dont move it back/closer to the middle and your movement is gonna be transfered better to the board, i think a 3d printed part would be best, but if i remember correctly they are sold seperately too for mountainboards, maybe for longboards too

First of all - great idea for making a tank board :D your creativity is admirable :) I am forcing to make something myself too, and am currently working on a cnc machine, sort of... If you don't mind, I have some suggestions for mark 3 - separate batteries from wheels - make backpack for batteries and connect them to board when you want to use it. Board will be lighter and allow to place stronger motor (although it does not reduces total weight with the driver, board will be lighter to carry); Also you can weld metal bars instead of clamping them together like others said. This is a great toy others would enjoy too - have you been thinking on mass producing this? Maybe start funding on Kickstarter?

Right now it is more of an off-road skateboard rather than an all-terrain skateboard, because it has problems on smooth surfaces. With that change I think you could truly make it "all-terrain" :) Nonetheless, an incredible achievement and mark II does look better in every way. Fantastic project and keep it up!
