When Bowser's body gets red, that's mean he's dead?

well, when a part of his body hurt it would turn red in the lower screen (like when his arm hurt before he punched in the race) so the red tells us that bowser is in a lot of pain but is still alive ... he is holding on to life

But the full red on Bowser’s body means that he got sucked, until you revive him.
