Deborah and Tony, this amazing song is the ignition switch that is launching Angelina’s professional career. I love seeing that the production team stayed with what has become the trade mark of Angelina’s videos. That being there are no unnecessary distractions. The focus is completely on Angelina. I got choked up seeing that grandma, Mery was in the video. That was such a sweet touch. This is a beautifully conceived and tastefully executed production. It stands alone as a work of art. Of course, Angelina’s vocals were stunning, as are her looks. I purchased this song right after hearing it for the first time. There is no question that Angelina’s debut album is going to #1 on the charts.

This new single had me stunned and surprised as i always am with Angelina,and i have been aware of her since she was around 6-7 years of age,the talks and rumours about her reached me early. Seeing Mery her grandma in this,had me tear up. Because like another reactor said so perfectly: How many other artists on theyr way up at 17-18-19 years of age,do you see bring theyr grandmothers in like this? I cant think of a single one! Everything Angelina does seems to be that unique thing that you only combine with Angelina and artists that are no longer with us,because it was so far back in time,most of us might not even been born then. Her song writing level,her song composing level and her song arrangement/re-arrangement of songs is on another level! And then i havent even touched on her vocal abilities! Nor her personality from her babysteps,she was almost a baby herself when she expressed concerns for poor and unfortunate children and people,and went into several charity concerts for them. She is undescribable,she has to be experienced.

Dear HollandOats (!), before my comment I read the other comments you received (4) and I'm encouraged by what they all had to say and, of course, what you said. Yes, it is important for the young people to join us on her musical journey but I think it's important for us to consider the following: Angelina is featuring the style of music which was highly regarded in years past and today's generation listens to a different beat. Angelina will not jump ship and try to attract new listeners by singing material which isn't her style. Rather, when the young people hear her sing her style they will come to appreciate what music can be if they give it a chance. And, once they enjoy her voice and her music they will find out more about her and when that happens, well, I'm almost sure they will begin to love as much as we do.

This genius we call Angelina Jordan How is it possible that all of the greatest vocalists in my lifetime to date can be combined into one being that is so unique, and that this person has the support, and resources of her family to promote her genius? We then have to consider the vehicle to carry AJ to us, the internet, the chances that all of these variables would be combined are one in several billion. As for the new song, "Love Don't Let Me Go", I have now played it 10 times, and AJ's signature, storytelling vocals are hypnotizing. With the 4 inch heals AJ has on at the start of the video she would be standing 6 feet 5 inches tall, she is 6-foot 1 inch barefooted. AJ wrote this tune, I wonder who the co-writers were, Lana Del Raye, or Redone, or Stargate out of Norway? Co-writers are listed on the streaming services: MTHR (Karl Ivert & Kian Sang - Swedish) They are also the producers.

I've listened to this song dozens of times, it's like an addiction. Every time, even understanding little English (I speak Spanish and I had to translate it) it excites me more than logic would recommend. She and her voice are fantastic, but what she transmits when she sings is even more so.

Let's face it what seventeen-year-old coming out with her first album in the United States puts her grandmother in her first video? Only someone with the confidence of who she is and what she wants to do and where she wants to go in life. She is in complete control over who this song is aimed at. It is not aimed at the teenagers in her fellow category. She has done this song with the older generation in mind that have been her followers for years. She doesn't want to grab onto the younger generation and lose her solid foundation in the generation that is you and me and those that are older and some that are in their thirties and forties ECT... Hi DnT 👋. What was an awesome reaction. She's on her way and she's only 17. By the way, the car is a mid 1950s Porsche and her outfit and hair are mid 1960s and the song is like a modern retro with a nostalgic feel to it. Angie’s Jazzy pop. Album is suppose to be out between June and Fall of 2023. Already know your telling everyone about it. It's #1 in Norway right now. Everywhere else it's in the top 100. So we have to get people to download it from iTunes etc and ask the radio stations to play it. If she doesn't get that up to #1 in the US it won't be a grammy. We have less than 2 weeks to do so. So lets get to it fans/angels 😇. This is more of an adult contemporary style Jazzy pop. Cause Angelina isn't like most teenagers. The song 🎵 is about Love, not as being in love. I agree with you on a potential Grammy but we shall see. The good news currently is that the song has been tracking number one on iTunes in Norway! It has been tracking number three on iTunes in the US for new pop songs. And for all pop songs of 2023 it is currently tracking at number 21! Quite an achievement for a debut single from a somewhat unknown new artist worldwide. She will capture the world.

Hello Deb and Tony! Yes, I've already heard it about 50 times within 24 hrs. I find myself moving around and humming the song without even realizing it. It's a catchy melody and it has something for everyone. It's unbelievable, really. Her voice is delicate, yet powerful at the same time. You hear the brightness in her voice as well as a misty flavor. She tells you the story of the song in her own way emphasizing the message of love in the song always with a hint of jazz. Her delivery carries a sincerity with it and we know she is doing what she was meant to be doing, singing FOR US to bring us joy and hope and a love so strong it will inspire us to be kinder, more caring and loving than ever before in our lives. Her desire in life is to do what she can to make the world a better place to live for everyone and she knows it's impossible unless we begin to love one another. This song's popularity will be defined by how many people buy the song. Yes, it's a new ballgame and Republic Records is very ready to steer the ship to all the major venues in the world so that everyone will get a chance to see her perform live. I woke up this morning and I had to play it again, IMMEDIATELY! She is creating a style of music that reaches deep within you and pulls you into this song and makes you feel emotions PF pride and comfort. Robert, I have the same problem as you….I found myself humming it while I was cutting the grass this morning. I can’t get it out of my head. It also happened with “Million Miles”, “7th Heaven”, “Shield” and her Christmas tribute to her fans, “You Say”. What a blessing to the world this artist has become. From the website "Genius" where the lyrics are posted, this bit was at the bottom. I'm not sure if it is written by someone with knowledge and close to her, or if it is speculation, but it certainly makes sense. Oh, and the Porsche Speedster was only in production until 1965. Fitting right in with this 60s retro look. It's also fitting that the person that started Angelina on this journey is seated next to her in that Porsche. After reading the lyrics ( I posted them in a separate comment), I believe this song is part of the grieving process for Angelina and Mery. We shed millions of tears listening to "Million Miles" but that was the start of the grieving process. Now a few years later, this song shows they are ready to move forward while still remembering their departed loved ones. Love the smiles and little laugh between Angelina and Mery at the end of the video. I just had this interpretation. Angelina and Mery in the car are moving forward into the future. They are sharing that ride together and Angelina has let us know they will never forget their departed loved ones.

I can't help but feel the song is about a young lady that hasn't fallen in love but wants to. It just eludes her, like trying to catch smoke. When she finally does get ahold of it, there'll be a face, heart, soul, eyes to look into, and she will have a home. Hope she finds it like I did 43 years ago...and still going strong. ❤
