Thanks very much to Dan M. for finding and making these performances available to all of us Iveys/Badfinger fans and showing the rest of the world what an amazing bunch of talent was offered by this band(s). Tom Evans had one of the best rock voices of all time.

This sounds like The Beatles at the Cavern Club in Liverpool. But what was to come such great music from them and the most extreme sadness for themselves down the road.

A great cover full of blues rock feeling! I feel that Pete Ham's guitar is influenced by Peter Green and Eric Clapton here.

Being 1968 for this gig, I find Pete Ham's leads and his tone amazing. Who was playing Rock and Roll like that, at that time, with that finesse and raw energy? He may be one of the most underrated guitarists of all-time. Maybe someday he will receive notice as a guitarist. I think people don't know who did what because Joe played lead, too.

@GraceBarrett I have some Badfinger live with Joey singing "Roll Over Beethoven" and other R&R. He just doesn't do justice because he has this very limited stoner vocal and he is sloppy and misses lines. Tommy Evans is incredible on this stuff. And Griffiths adds cool yells and high harmony. Iveys are better than I realized. Thanks for all these songs of an underrated band, Dan.

These guys were great pop songcrafters, but it's great to hear them rocking out! Mike was one hell of a drummer - for a lefty (just kidding).

This is hot! But I thought Joey taught them how to "rock and roll"? My God - what a revelation!!
