IVF Frozen Embryo Transfer Process - When should you cancel?

I got pregnant through a frozen transfer. There was about a 2 month gap between the egg retrieval and FET, but I think my body and mind needed time to heal from egg retrieval. I also went to the beach to get some sun, relax and relieve stress a week before my transfer. Currently 25 weeks pregnant and so thankful for the IVF technology that allowed me to experience this miracle. Thank you Dr Morris for your videos- they really helped me feel confident and empowered with knowledge about the IVF process.

Thank you I was thinking of taking some time as well after egg retrieval and financial stress before fet I want to be stress free and super healthy before transfer but was not sure if I should take a pause

I did a natural cycle FET. I had my monthly cycle after egg retrieval. I didn’t do any estrogen and I only did progesterone inserts 2 days after I ovulated and up until my first blood HCG🤦🏾‍♀️. After that no more inserts! My progesterone was at 34. I did however, do a trigger shot. 6 days later we transferred. I got a faint positive two days after transfer and it got darker in the following days. If possible go for a natural cycle FET, if you have regular cycles. It’s better for your body after all those injections and it’s better for the embryo, also it’s cheaper and less painful 😉, NO INJECTIONS! I’m currently 12 weeks and my baby is growing so fast 🥰. My predicted due date is July 25th 🙏🏾🤞🏾. I pray any woman trying to conceive will be blessed w/ their baby.

Congrats! I’m also scheduled for a natural fet - and had some questions , I assume you went into monitoring more often to get blood drawn? I heard the progesterone gets messy

If someone takes progynova (2mg, 2 tablets, twice a day) 3 hours late than usual time on tranfer morning can it afftect implantation..is it neccesary to take progynova just before FET in morning ?

I have the understanding that FET can be done anytime as they are frozen. clinics perform Hysteroscopy before just before you start your STIMs injections 💉 for egg retrieval. According to many clinics, a Hysteroscopy is valid for 6 months

Ask your doctor. At my IVF center, 6 mm is considered very good

She is such a strong woman to be putting her body through this. We just want a healthy baby of either sex. You should appreciate what you have - two beautiful healthy girls. You don't NEED a boy. If your husband feels differently, what you need is a new husband
