Peugeot 306 S16/GTi-6 SatchShift + 4.76 Final Drive drive by

The footage shows following mods :
SatchShift rose-jointed gearshift kit by Satchell Engineering,
4.76 Final Drive (replaced the 4.05 stock).
VibraTechnics / Spoox competition engine mount bush kit to supres and reduce engine and gearbox movement.
Car feels very very nice, shifting is precise also under heavy load and in the middle of cornering. SatchShift definitely requires hard competition engine and gearbox mount kit.

I can ask something, the gearbox is original? you have only changed to a short group, no? I am adapting a box equal to a 206 RC, and I would like to know if with a short group between gear and gear is just as good as in your video, or also has a relationship between gears different from the original?

Original gearbox BE3/6 with final drive 4.76:1 and satch shifter. Everything else is standard, original. I have no idea how the RC geearbox will work with the engine.

I want to put a short group 15x72, (4.8 final drive.) In the rc the box of the 306 has a top speed of 240 km / h approximately, with the 15x72 in should lower that point to 200-210 kmh supposedly. Which group carries the 306 stock? it would help me a lot to know that to calculate which group would be better adapted to my needs, TNX

By the way, do you know if a short group of be3 5 speeds can be mounted in the 6 speed box? not right? the 6-speed tree should be longer, right?

Hi, It has been made by local manufacturer living in the southern part of Slovakia. If I remember the value right It was approximately 450 EUR. Thank you ;)

Hi, the manufacturer is Satchell Engineering : www.satchellengineering.co.uk/ I ordered the kit from there : www.maximotorsport.com/products.php?directory=products/Peugeot/Peugeot 306/Competition Parts Don't forget to get also competition engine/gearbox mounts, otherwise It won't do any better when the gearbox and engine has movement with standards.
