I had to look it up to find out who that villain was who snorted cocanie. Apparently, he is called Snowflame, and he gets powers snorting cocanie. He was not used very much and the only enemies he fought were a superhero group called the New Guardians who were selected from different nations all over the world as representative of the entire human race by a member of the Guardian of the Universe and a member of a alien race called the Zamaron. He also fought Catwoman once and also Peacemaker. He was killed by Peacemaker due to him poisoning his cocanie with a poison dart frog. I'm sure the drugs were going to kill him anyway, but I guess Peacemaker figures he might as well speed things up to get rid of this drug-fueled villain.

the higher he gets, the stronger his powers. Which include pyrokinesis, causing cocaine contact highs from touch, super strength.... essentially in this situation with enough booger sugar, he was actually the biggest threat to Ivy.

The most important thing to take away from this is that most of the villains here weren't against what Ivy was proposing, given that most of them didn't take part in the fight. Notice that Man-Bat, Snowflame, Gorilla Grod, and Metallo were the only ones who stood up to challenge her. The rest just stood back and watched to see how this would turn out, which is in-character. Honestly, if Ivy couldn't deal with Gorilla Grod backed up by three second-to-third-string baddies, she had no business being in charge.

@@barisbal7782 Right, and because the only reason why Reverse Flash and Sinestro are in the Legion of Doom is because Green Lantern and Flash are in the Justice League. Reverse Flash lives only tomess with Flash, and this fight had nothing to do with that. Sinestro, likewise, is only even on Earth because he goes up against multiple human Green Lanterns, and anything that might kill them is a good thing, so he has no interest in who runs the Legion of Doom, especially since most of his plans involve interplanetary conquest. Neither one of them have any skin in this game, so they just sit back and watch to see who comes out on top. Again, in-character.

I love to think that, very deep down, most of the villains in that room were aware that their plans are just terrible and never work against their enemies, so the ones who didn't attack Ivy were really giving her plans a chance. The ones who did attack her are the ones that realized their plans are aweful, but they still felt offended 😂😂😂

That would also defeat the purpose of the Legion of Doom. These villains are following rules as part of a group because they see the benefits of working together for the greater "Evil". If it all came down to who is stronger it would be a total free-for-all where the villains keep backstabbing each other until the Legion of Doom ceases to exist and the Heroes just take down what is left.

@@dillonstanley796 My assumption is basically that. They were hardly attacking all at once. While Ivy had angered all of them, the Legion of Doom has never operated purely as "who can beat everyone else up in a straight fight" or else Lex Luthor wouldn't be the one in charge most of the time. The leader's gotta be able to lay down the law, but it's going to be more about organization. If you just kill Ivy, then someone else has to organize things, and it's a messy power struggle. But if she couldn't even show a few of the more egotistic/unstable members who's boss then she would have proven she didn't deserve the spot in the first place. She proved she could handle herself, so they'll acquiesce for now. And if things go bad with her plan for the legion they can always launch a more coordinated coup and install a new leader instead.

I can agree with the idea that many of the villains here who would be able to one shot Ivy didn't get involved, coz they weren't feeling very mutinous. It's the 2nd and 3rd stringers getting too big for their britches and she should be able to handle them. My problem is, one of those villains who SHOULD be able to one shot her is Grodd. He has mental manipulation, which I assume is faster than vines, so unless she had an anti psychic protection, vines wouldn't protect her.

I think the idea is that Ivy is actually part plant, so Grodd's mind manipulation doesn't FULLY work on her, so that gives her time to react. But I don't read DC that much, so I got no clue if that's the accurate reasoning behind it or not.
