Should have been a sit down interview. Would have loved to hear from Abigail on her background (did she travel to Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean growing up) and perception on Ghana from her first trip.

Thanks for your feedback. The goal was showcasing the land and opportunity for the property. Perhaps a follow-up interview could be done to dig into their personal stories. But I know that my friend Hayford, of WebNation Africa is doing an interview with them as well. I'm sure his angle will be focused on something else than mine.

Thank you for sharing this video. All I see is a nice couple trying to enter the real estate space but have no money and wants people in the diaspora to bring their money to finance this project. The whole off plan is a no no because things change, dollar exchange rate change and projects never get completed. With the experience from SUCCASA I wouldn’t buy. If they are able to finish the project with their own financing and people can go see it and walk through and they are selling then yes I will consider it even if the price is changed but until then, I wouldn’t advise putting money into it. Anyone can draw a 3 D plan but a completed vision is what needs to be seen.

@@emmaafriyie5170 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's interesting that your perspective is saying all you see is a couple who doesn't have money. A lot of big companies operate the same way. By using other people's money. That's what all the banks do around the world. They use YOUR money that you deposited to then go invest in OTHER business and make a profit off of YOUR money. Banks do this always.
@emmaafriyie51704 күн бұрын
@@IvyProsper i understand your perspective as well. However when you take your money to a reputable bank and you invest in a fixed deposit, your money is there with interest. You are comparing apples to oranges. All I am saying is real estate in Ghana can be tricky so people should do their research and buy the house when it is completed to prevent any unexpected surprises. To each his own. Other people can do otherwise but they should be careful.

@@emmaafriyie5170And they actually have a real estate business in the UK already. Now they are venturing into Ghana

Haven't seen your content in a minute. Glad your back. But as a Voltarian, I usually drive through this area on my way to go visit the elders whenever I'm down. But this will be a great investment opportunity for anyone becaI hear the main Airport will be relocated to that area.
@IvyProsper2 ай бұрын
@@jazzyfour Yes, I had stopped posting like I used to. I'm getting back to a regular schedule. The airport is not being relocated. There is talk of plans to build another airport possibly in Prampram. Thanks for watching and commenting.

There needs to be an injunction on the "off plan" scheme in Ghana. Things happen and projects never get finished. Developers need to get financing and complete a small number of units and sell. Slowly develop. The "off plan" deposits will lose buying power during the course of the project. I understand the concept but the government needs to be careful that we do not have unfinished projects all over the place.
@IvyProsper2 ай бұрын
Which projects that are off-plan do you know of that are unfinished? Typically, the off-plan model works. Please share some examples. From my observation, it's historically been individuals who are building homes that usually run out of money and have unfinished projects. This has been common in Ghana for decades. An individual will build as they have money and when their personal finances run out, they have unfinished homes.
