I’m 3 weeks into the dry start method of growing Monte Carlo and I’m getting some leaves going brown. Why is this happening? I’m allowing fresh air to enter tank for 5 mins and then misting then closing plastic film wrap over tank and leaving light on for 12 hours daily. Also using ADA Amazonia soil but not using CO2 system as yet.

@@camdenf9165 yes, took me around 3 months but all good now. I have a nice thick lush covering of MC in my nano planted shrimp tank and without using any liquid or injected CO2. Just using a very good Dymax LED light.

Highlands Girl I did keep shrimps in my old tank. Not sure if I’ll have them in this one. I may have some Amano shrimp. Not decided
