I preciate it brother. Yeah all I use is the mb50 wet bed and the 3m 1.4 tip for wet bed. I use the LPH-300 for sealer because the sealer so thin and the LPH-300 breaks it down really well

Looks like that SATA Jet CC layed that clearcoat down pretty good…I think that’s my next gun..I just picked up the SATA Jet X5500 HVLP 1.3 I low rider edition…haven’t pulled it out the box yet. But I’m ready to spray

Yeah I have the hvlp also. It’s not a bad gun. Highest psi u can spray with the gun is 26 psi

Great work treyster as always. I’ve talked to you before about using a wet bed . How come with the old paint line you used you didn’t use a wet bed on your blend panels.

Because I was using solvent base paint and u don’t make the solvent paint as wet as the 100 line. 100 line requires it to be wet so when u blend with it u will get really bad sand piling.

For now until Monday I won’t know about the WS-400 obs. But the LS u can only spray to 26 psi and I do dump material on three panel. It supposed to be for solvent and 1st gen and up water base while the WS-400 obs is for wet on wet paint like what I just now like Glasurit 100 line and Spies Hecker Hi Tec.

Looks like your doing a drop coat while spraying. I’m used to letting it flash and turning the pressure down and backing off. I am also used to seeing people letting the wet bet flash before spraying into it but I’ve always sprayed into a wet wet bed lol I paint boats though.

Yeah this paint system is a wet on Wet application it has to stay wet. I am doing a drop coat at the same time when I come back to that panel

@@treysterthepainterturner8404 I hawe also spies hi-tec waterborne. That one is a ass busting juice. If the silver is not done right- clear it and do it again. But the 100 line is awesome at silvers. Atleast those, who i painted so far. And also the same- if hawing problems like some sandpaper marks, then i mix it with blender, pressure down and it works

I just it on a bumper just. I had it set to 20 psi. I close the fan in and turn it out 2 turn from in to out and 3 to 4 turns out from in on sealer and clear I do 2 turns in to out and 3 turns in to out on fluid for clear.

distance is about 6inches, with a constant and steady passes

That because u choking the fan. Leave the fan alone fluid wise u might need to turn it in. Do 1.5 turns in to out with wide open fan at 28 to 29 psi. And also don’t add reducer in it. Just clear and hardner that’s it.

Wet bed is for paint/ metallic to lay onto while u blending so u don’t have sand piling on the panels or little beads that would look like trash.

what is the better option for solvent paint OBS or LS et? I usualy use SATA's hvlp 1.2 and 1.3CC but for the paint sometimes i feel that i need more atomization of the paint. Is it worth it to switch to iwata series 2 hvlp or obs? I yesterday i tryed obs for first tine and i like it but i'am not 100 %sure what to purchase obs or hvlp

@boyanbyankow5192 the LS is for solvent so that’s your best bet. The obs is for water base paint like ppg envirobase pretty much 1st generation to second gen water base paint. And the Ws base is for wet on wet paint system like what I’m using now.
