IWC Portuguiser is one ot the icons in the horology overall. The team at Schaffhausen managed to improve this, already beautiful watch, through some subtle and decent changes of its case and glass, as well as with new colour schemes. IWC Portuguiser... as desirable as ever ! And even more !

Love the gold face, as you said matches jewelry easily and like wearing a gold watch without the flash! Love it. Unfortunately, for moi prob have to wait for a pre-owned one. Thx for your work and share!!

Too big and chunky for me and I will curious to see how IWC does in the +$15k price segment. Lot of great choices in higher price segments

I think that they offer 44, 42 and 40, but for folks w tiny wrists I imagine even 40 can be challenging. But the Portugieser was 41.9mm in 1939, so good they are staying faithful to that.

Tolles Video und die beste Stimme von allen KZbin Uhrenkanälen. Super Uhr leider gibt es das Horizon-Blatt nur mit Weißgold, was sie für mich zu teuer macht. Das sandfarbene Blatt muss man mal live sehen, da würde der Preis wieder passen.

Thanks for the detailed video! Is the 52011 in the Portugieser 42 the same as the old movement? i've read elsewhere that it is new and slightly different from the older 52010 movement which is also currently in the Big Pilot

beautiful colors and dials, unfortunately the strap is too thin and small lug makes the watch looks like a bulb , thick and imbalance

Nice but way too expensive . Please don’t tell me they are “ luxury” watches I understand that . At these prices there are better options that don’t depreciate like these when bought new. Pre owned at a BIG discount yes, otherwise I’m afraid they priced them too dear in my opinion. Love the dune colour dial , the others are nice too. Shame about IWC ‘ s pricing though . If they were a little less aggressive on pricing they might possibly sell more pieces ….

Who’s really buying such expensive watches? Explain how some are entry level car prices? You get so much with a car material, workmanship, engineering etc they are also produced fast unlike watches. It seems like they maintain a low production to charge exorbitant prices.

@@djcan9503 No all things in life are made for practical reasons.Someone that buys a painting for 100 millions can you calculate how many cars homes or televisions can buy with the same money ? Of course this man have already all these things before spent such money for a painting.There are some people in this world that earns the money for an iwc watch in minutes so its not expensive at all for them.There are other people like me that are not rich but like watches so i spent 4.000 euros for an iwc watch 12 years ago and still have it and i can sell it for almost the same price now ( was cheaper back then and 4.000 was more money that are now )
