I got one and it a very nice looking pistol. It feels good in my hand and for the money!, you can't beat it. I haven't fired it yet but I'm not worried about IWI quality. I have several of their products and they have all been excellent.

The Canik Tp9sfx will come with a longer barrel, better trigger, fiber optic front sight and 4 mounting plates. Plus it is available right now and is already on the USPSA Production list.

So as soon as I saw the Masada, it jumped to the top of my list of new guns to buy. But since the 2020 Shot Show introducing PSA's Dagger(the plus version for $350), I'm not sure. If the Masada price really drops to $400, I think I'll go for it. Decisions, decisions.

The IWI Masada is a great gun. The price with all of the features just makes it even better. I don't think you can find a better full size handgun that is optics ready, modular, and has all the features most of the popular handguns have. In the future you can probably find these around $400-430. I've seen two gun stores carried these at $450, but closer to $500 seems to be the norm. If the trigger was a little better, I think it would be perfect. Kind of reminds me of the M&P9 2.0 trigger even though the designs for the triggers are different. A compact version would have been better for most people because you can use it for competition, home defense, and conceal carry, but I prefer these full size guns. I'm a big guy at 6'5" and I've been carrying a steel frame IMI Jericho 941 for almost a decade. I was recently promoted at work and now spend most of my days standing or walking if I'm not on my lunch break. The combined extra effort from carrying such a heavy gun has led me to start looking at polymer guns. I was looking at either getting a polymer IWI Jericho 941 because that's what I'm familiar with or the CZ P-10F, but then IWI released this. These are really tough choices to make and I appreciate you for making this video! Although I still don't know which one I'll pick, this video along with other Masada reviews are helping out with me making a decision. Thanks 3Gun!

What did you end up with?
@JacksonWalter735
@JacksonWalter735 4 жыл бұрын
@@arthurwood7525 lol I ended up with a completely different gun. I almost bought the Masada because I wanted my first optics ready pistol but found out that the Beretta APX was only $468 street price at my local gun shop before the pandemic. The regular APX, APX Centurion, and APX Compact were all $300-330 at the time and the optics version was around/wasn't that much more than the Masada at the gun stores I've actually found a Masada in. With a better trigger, better build quality in my opinion, and more aftermarket support, the APX RDO version became my choice and first Beretta.

Hey 3, what did you mean that “it’s sighted in for the dots”? I haven’t heard of that. I am interested in the gun and have heard comments it shoots low.
@AntonAdelson
@AntonAdelson 4 жыл бұрын
From what I understand it means you aim by aligning the dots in one line and the bullet goes where the middle dot it. Which means you don't see the exact point of impact because it's behind the white dot. Also from I understand Israelis prefer this method because it's designed more for actual combat shooting and not for target shooting.

@jeremynon7594 4 жыл бұрын
@@AntonAdelson correct. I own this gun and the manual shows that you are supposed to line up the dots. I was shooting low for a bit until I read the manual. Also, someone from IWI actually pointed it out in a video

Wow! See minute 9:30. Everybody & their mama are copying the SIG & Glock innovations. I guess that is a form of flattery when your patents run out. *The Question(s) is/are then:* HIGH-END - Is buying one (1) or two (2) more costly original high-end guns (Glock, SIG, HK, Walter, etc.) better to use for their polished benefits? (proven reliability, huge aftermarket parts & extras, large supply of holsters, excellent & REAL warranty, much higher re-sale prices, etc.) LOW-END - Is going cheap better and buying MANY "clones" (5, 10, 14, etc.) or semi-copies of a Glock/SIG for their basic offerings & so-so warranties? Something to think about. (buy the sometimes good, sometimes bad *Taurus* which has very bad warranty services I hear, get a huge *Hi-Point* that's designed to fail at about 5,000 rounds, or even the anti-gun rights, lobbying against the 2nd Amendment Springfield's new *Hellcat* (more Glock-like than XD-like) which already has an issue with it's trigger jamming for people with small hands, etc.) Some things to think about that gun salesmen leave out for some reason *:* 0 I wonder why? *NOTE:* HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!!
