there's a big difference between comedic and dramatic acting and tbh that's why starkid actors are hard to rank. some excel in comedy but not drama and vice versa, they all have their different strengths

i think lauren, joe, joey, and jeff both really excel at comedy and dramatic roles. we haven’t seen much of jeff in serious scenes but from what we have seen (like when aladdin talks to himself, for example) he does great. i would love to see more of serious joe like his role in spies are forever because he usually plays comedic characters but i feel like he killed that role as well.

Joey is such a good comedic and dramatic actor, sure most of his stuff’s comedy, but with his stuff in Starship, The Solve it Squad, and Spies Are Forever. He’s really fucking good at dramatic stuff.

While I agree with Jeff Blimms spot on this list I still think he is kind of a typcast and I would love to see him trying a more 'sane' role. Maybe regarding this point Joe Walker would be my number one cause he played so many diffrent roles and perfectly blended in in all of them.

Actually the Father in TTO was pretty sane (well, at least if you compare him to other characters in the show). He only "Jeffed" in that one particular monologue and when he was poisoned.

yeah i really didnt know which of those two to put first.. the thing with Jeff is, that he plays all these insane people completely differently (well, most of them). Like comparing Sweettooth to Aladdin for example is just not really possible and that's what amazes me about him. (Also everyone was angry because I didn't include him in best singers so maybe now they'll be ok with that)

as much as i love jeff & joe, theyre kinda typecasts to me. jeff is mostly crazy, joe is mostly comedic relief. lauren & joey show the most diverse casting, they also blend really well with all of their roles

This. The way Joey melts into his roles is mind-blowing. I started my Starkid journey with TGWDLM and TTO, then AVPM. It took me a moment to realize it was the same actor in those plays.

my ranking just cause 1. joey richter he wouldn't be this high up if not for saf, but the way he does that final scene tears me apart every time. it really demonstrates a more serious acting style and i LOVE it. 2. joe walker he's so versatile!!! and he's so good at singing while he's acting. he just shines so much as an actor. i miss him :( 3. lauren lopez again, super versatile. she manages to kill it in every type of role. craphole, tanya freemont, DRACO all demand such different characterisation and she's so good every time. 4. jon matteson admittedly i haven't seen him in much, so i don't really know how versatile he is, but he's so GOOD in tgwdlm that i don't Really care. his acting in let it out KILLS ME. he's so GOOD 5. jeff blim. he's brilliant! he acts his parts so frickin well. i wish he played different types of roles other than the one type he seems to always play, but he's found his niche and runs with it. 6. dylan saunders again, such a range. he can play such heartbreaking characters, like jafar (his acting in if i believed GAH) as well as more lighthearted, funny characters like dumbledore or tootsie noodle 7. jaime lyn beatty she's been typecast a bit, as the giddy, clueless girl but i mean she absolutely shines in it so who can blame her tbh. 8. robert manion his ACCENTS. all his roles feel so different. hot chocolate boy and prof hidgens do not seem like they are played by the same guy. he's amazing 9. corey dorris i feel Bad for putting him this low bc he's so good. bill is such a heartbreaking character, and he plays it so well. also, cletus is the funniest character in tto Thanks. 10. darren criss i just finished the assassination of gianni versace so that definitely influenced it but like holy SHIT anyway that was a waste of time

Yesss, I 100% agree with Jeff Blim as #1. I feel like he tends be pretty overlooked as an actor, when his characters are always very well played. The crazy characters like Aladdin, Aragog (sort of), and Sweet Tooth are eerily believable and honestly kind of frightening. General McNamara and Jack Bauer (Father) were also very entertaining and funny. I love all the Starkids, but in terms of acting, I'm happy to see Jeff getting the credit he deserves.

Hhhh Jon is actually so amazing, so I agree with where you put him in the list. First of all, there's Let It Out, where you can really see the contradicting personalities (??) because he's getting infected. Aside from that, his character is actually really different to his real personality?? Like, first of all, he actually _does_ likes musicals lol. And if you've been to streams or tried checking videos with him (or maybe just stalked him), he's really different from Paul. He did an amazing job in TGWDLM. He's new in Starkid, so hopefully we get to see a lot more of him in next shows.

It is very hard to rank these guys on acting because I love all of them. I gotta say... Joey and Joe have a lot of diverse rolls. I also really like Brian Rosenthal because he's done lots of diverse rolls as well. Jamie has done lots of different rolls as well. Robert Manion hasn't been in enough things but I gotta say the Liza Manelli thing he did was fantastic and spot on. Lauren has done lots of different rolls but... idk. It is super hard to rank any of these fantastic people because I love them all
