My step dad always said, sit back and watch him how he acts around his family and friends. So true... I'm so glad I married my husband . We talked about everything before we got married.

Nasheka Thanks for sharing this im in a relationship right now and i dont feel that we are on the same level so what do i do? i do love her and care about her but i feel like we arent on the same page we have been together for 2 months
@NashekaMedley7 жыл бұрын
Marcell Barrett The only advice I can suggest is that you answered your own question. If you know both of you aren't on the same page, why waste her time? She's not going to change for you. Sometimes love can be mistaken for lust early in the relationship. Just don't waste her time and yours. There is someone out there for you.
@minidocstv33396 жыл бұрын
Marcell Barrett right , don't waste each other's time.save the heartbreak of breaking up later.

This is SO TRUE, and one of the things I utilize most. Remember though, it still will not reveal to you who they truly are. It will only help you to understand how they communicate with those people. Men typically show their “representatives” to their loved ones, and those they care about impressing. Pay extra attention how he treats STRANGERS. How he treats waitstaff, cashiers, people in traffic, children, etc. Observe how he treats NATURE. Most importantly, watch how he reacts to and treats you in times of turmoil, rejection, disappointment, and pain. Only then will you get as close as possible to learning who he genuinely is. Pass this along, thank your stepdad, and embrace your husband. Best wishes❣️

equally yoked is more having an understanding of eachother, agreeing and comprimising being on the same page. i used to think it was your other half, someone completing you. i learned through life you complete yourself.
@adelejohnson19226 жыл бұрын
I agree that we must be complete for ourselves and shouldn't expect anyone to complete you. THAT is so true my sister. However, My sister, I don't think being equally yoked is about compromising at all. For example, if a man only likes a woman that is a size 0 only. He may not compromise and be with a size 8. I respect that. A lot of times even if that man does compromise and settles with the size 8, he might inwardly resent her and himself for doing so. So, this concept of not settling goes into the spiritual and relational as well. it's about being real about accepting people's standards and the other accepting our standards. There is compromise in life for some things. but, being equally yoked is about your standards agreeing with another person's standards. You have to have standards or you settle for any and everything.

I'm sure i would remain friends with my current boyfriend if we ever split up. There is some kind of friendship between us now and I like him as a person. But I am certainly not friends with my current exes, because those people and me, we weren't just bad for eachother in the relationships, I don't believe we were friends-material at all. I met them when I had severe selfesteem issues and thought that physical attraction was the same thing as love. This is the first relationship that actually feels really good for both him and me. so, i think wether you want to remain friends or not depends a great deal on what drew you together in the first place.

I said everything I needed to say but they seem to be upset still and I'm not sure why. But this reasoning you provided is clear. Guess I didn't see it this way initially bc I gave them what they wanted by making them a reason and a season. If you do things to cause upset and refuse to change then I'm not the women for you. They still mad. Men a very complicated Smh....

Jalina Nails it is hard to even date because men these days don't want to have real relationships or be married so what is even the point... If you have respect for yourself and don't put out the guy doesn't like you and he will find another, if you do see someone for a while and put out he dumps you. it's a no win situation!!! you can't make a guy want you. men even pretend to be good guys and they are really not so I just give up!

Sis, you would LOVE my college Philosophy Ethics course. We debated many reasons for just that argument. Fantastic arguments were made for homosexuality, polygamy, huge age disparities, and more. Certainly makes you think, but also overstand Humanity, Society, and Relationship, thus judging less. But it can be some crazy, dark stuff, which oft feels unfair to the female. Conception (and prime time for it) is mostly to blame. Sorry to shortcut it all, but it gets deep. And you won’t love many of the answers. Honestly, I’d love to revisit that course now, as I passed it nearly a decade ago. Best wishes❣️

I missed a lot of red flags about in the beginning of my relationship and now we are married. It is clear to me that we are unequally yoked on so many levels. How do we fix it?
@sharilbrooks81566 жыл бұрын
Queen Branch First, communicate your findings with your partner. Discuss the areas you feel are out of balance or unequal between the two of you. Then, consider the compromise. Are you both willing to listen and fulfill the needs of the other without compromising your personal values? If yes, then go forward in your commitment to one another with a refined sense of togetherness in your journey. If not, then get clear about how each of you desire to move forward with this new information. Peace & Blessings.
