I remember some months ago me and my ex were hanging out at her place, when randomly the verse Genesis 2:22 pops up in my head. I have been going through the absolute worst time of my life In separation from my sons dad. Like absolute sorrow for 10 months. I went on a dating site and within 1 hour was matched with my old coworker from 14 years ago and he has been treating me like an absolute queen. He makes me feel special and loved. For the first time in 10 months I am not sad and missing my abusive former partner. I often wonder if he was sent by God.

My story with my boyfriend is kind of complicated. I know that God approves me marrying him because we are both Christians and equally yolked and that’s everything God wants. The Bible says that you can marry anyone you wish as long as they love the Lord as well. So I know I can marry him. I just don’t if we should take a break to work on ourselves so that we can fix the issues we had and then continue the relationship or continue the relationship while working on ourselves and fixing the issues we had at the same time. A lot of stuff happened where we both messed up. It’s a long story. But we do still love each other.
