Yes I agree! If you look at her fancam, you can actually see that her moves are sharper and more powerful than before. However, it would be better if she could gain more confidence! Kwangbae actually already improved a lot so too bad all the haters are blind🤷🏻‍♀️ They don’t appreciate our precious Kang Chan’s efforts but WIZ*ONE will protect and support her no matter what! ALSO! FYI, Chaeyeon said on that "Hyewon doesn't give up. I think that's her greatest strength. It's not that she aims to make immense improvements in her dancing; rather, she has a strong will to properly carry out the things she needs to do as an IZ*ONE member... I often get surprised when I'm next to her because she never gives up no matter what she does. I have a lot of things to learn from the members."

I don't think is confidence, is more about energy, she doesn't have/give any energy at all on stage... Just as a point of comparison, SNSD Tiffany debuted on a group with other 8 girls that were much more skilled than her in dancing (even with a dance monster such as Hyoyeon), and she used to hide on the background but always giving 110% energy, and then when her parts came she gave the 200% and no one but haters acknowledged that she lacked (a lot) in dancing. Hyewon does the opposite, she just dances on the background and when her parts come she relies on her beauty, ofc she may be working on that, but after of 2 years of exposure I see little improvement (actually, I think she did better on Boombayah giving a 200% and trying to compensate for her members, than on her actual Iz*one stages)

I have to say this: I kinda feel bad for Eunbi. This girl can DANCE! In pretty much any other group where Chaeyeon wasn't, she would be THE main dancer and outshine everyone. I think Nako also has the ability to make moves look easy and effortless since Nekkoya performance. She makes it look like it's nothing to perform certain difficult dances. It's kind of a strength and weakness at the same time. I also always kinda thought that even though Hyewon is the weakest dancer, her moves are still fairly sharp now that she has improved her fluidity a bit.

Hyewon has a very good memory, she is the most intelligent of the group, but she needs a lot of training. Sakura is very charismatic on stage, she has an aura, her central material helps her dance, but her dance level is basically the same as that of Hyewon, but she dances AKB48 choreographies as 'The Way Man'. Yuri was trained as a dancer at the beginning of her training, she is an above average dancer

(Imo) once again idk anything about the techniques or overdancing and rhythm, so maybe whiteraven is more accurate in terms of the ranking. Actually I think all of them are pretty good dancers from minju onwards, and even hyewon is improving yay!!

for someone who isnt prepared to be an idol, hyewon is impressive in terms of memorizing choreo. izone had tons of different choreo for both japanese & korean comebacks, and if she was a bad dancer she'd screwed up. But she never once failed to deliver the choreo (albeit not in 100% as most would have wanted, but good enough for me) and she never once ruined izone's dance formation even if it requires her to walk from one side of the room to the other (vampire choreo). shes definitely not the best dancer or singer or idol even, but i can relate to that and thats what made me like her in the first place. Fighting Kang Hyewon!

Yes hyewon and sakura needs way more credit. Izone has one of the most difficult choreos. Also they have a LOT of chores. They have one for most of their songs. And if they were bad it be noticeable but its not. They improved a lot.

As for me, Eunbi, Yujin, and Yena has this same vibe in dancing. It has power and weight. Chaewon and Yuri’s dance line are also pretty. To be honest, I like their line next to Chaeyeon 🥰 As for Nako, her movements are too light, idk if it’s a good thing or not but her line is pretty too. Minju, Hitomi, and Wonyoung has the same style. Sakura and Hyewon too. Chaeyeon is my ultimate bias and I can’t agree more to your opinion 🥰 i love her so much! imo the rating are a bit off? Eunbi's infamous for overdancing, it improved a lot now but look at the idol room dances and you can clearly see she puts too much power into her moves even when it should be delicate, making her dance be a little imprecise. Yena's considered to be the second-best or the third because she has amazing control and power.

I do agree with your list, but I do think that Chaeyeon does have the same issue as her sister in which they only really have two sets of facials. Rarely do I see her use anything either than an intense stare or anenergetic smile. She’s a fantastic overall dancer but I think Eunbi edges her out very slightly in idol dancing because goddamn, Eunbi has FANTASTIC usage of her eyes and eyebrows???? Either way, I love them both and they’re both fantastic!

I agree with you, I remember that during PD48, some people used to say that they were a great duo since Chaeyeon had the powerful dance skills, while Eunbi had the charisma and facial expressions. And this is specially noticeable if you compare their Veryx3 fancams. Eunbi's expressions were really great there, and she's overall way more expressive.

I don't think you can rank visual, it's all personal preference. Personally, I think Eunbi is the prettiest by far, but others say Minju, others say Hyewon, etc. I know it's based of Korean Standards, but I think the idea of a visual is a bit... stupid, to be honest.

This was really insightful! I’m not a massive IZONE fan but I really enjoy their songs and choreography. Their dances are such a visual overload for me that I don’t think I ever even noticed much difference in their skill levels, but the way you lay it out is so clear.

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years already….well the girls have definitely improved a lot! Especially Sakura and chaewon, don’t get me wrong chaewon was always a pretty good dancer (imo but I’m not a professional so it probably doesn’t matter) but it seems like she’s improved in lesserafim and Sakura has definitely improved a lot in dance! Even as a non dancer I can see how much her dancing has improved since akb and iz*one and she amazes me.

I found in Fiesta that when they spin during the chorus, the choreographer probably did not tell them when or how to move their arms from their heads downwards and so they all do it differently. But it's interesting bc then you can see how each girl interprets the move. Some are spotting the turn, some whips their arms down, some slide it down their bodies, some gently let their hands fall, some move their hands before their bodies and some after lol

i feel like chaeyeon only overdances in izone stages. in her solo stages, collabs and covers she dances perfectly. it's probably because of either nervousness or that she feels like she has to prove she deserves to be in izone cause people make fun of her visuals and call her the "visual hole" of izone. it's honestly sad how much she has suffered for a face that is actually more beautiful than 80% of ours :(
