RX 9 is better than RX 10 in many ways. I have RX 10 advanced. Anything automated, like repair, is just lipstick on a pig. Hopefully 11 advanced will at least be in the ballpark of spectral layers, which I really enjoy.

I don't agree. When M1 released and RX 10 was on the horizon, iZotope still went back and made all of their previous product versions M1 Native - instead of requiring an upgrade - which was a huge benefit to their customers: Ozone 9, RX 9, Nectar 3, Neutron 3, Tonal Balance Control 2, etc. etc. were all ported over to Apple Silicon Native. So, a lot of people who may have been forced to upgrade for this were able to hold onto those older versions and continue to use them without issue; and without having to buy upgrades for a lot of products. iZotope's issue is that their development has largely plateaued. I actually think that "generosity" burned them, but if they didn't do those ports they would have been roasted by everyone (even though so many of those users got those products at insane discounts, like $170 Tonal Balance Bundles, etc.). Saying they have no respect for their customers is honestly a blatant lie. I think they took too long to make RX ARA2 for VST3 DAWs. Same with Music Rebalance. Meanwhile, Steinberg made both SpectraLayers and WaveLab ARA2. Acon Acoustica Premium went ARA2. Serato introduced Stem Separation. FL Studio, Waveform Pro and Logic Pro all introduced Stem Separation. The Restoration Algorithms in SpectraLayers have improved a ton, and they have GPU-Accelerated Processing on Windows - it was always a better editing interface than the RX Spectral Editor, IMO. RX is great for post production, especially since some of their cleanup algorithms are still best-in class and you get every module as a discrete plug-in. But if you have RX9 or 10 there is very little reason to care about this. For things like Dialog Isolation or Voice DeNoise, multiple NLEs (Resolve Studio, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) implemented those features a year+ ago, and they are REALLY good at it. Things like DeReverb are already in other products. And it seems like they took Music Rebalance out of Standard and moved it to Advanced - according to the feature Matrix. I hope that's a typo because if not, Lol. ARA2 is still basically broken on Apple Silicon Native, as well.

The really sad thing about elements is it used to be good - u got a few of the most essential modules form the full thing, RX7 denoise was awesome for just throwing on analog synths, plenty of control, it just did the one thing. Glad i got the music production suite 6 for $180, but i certainly cant see a grand in RX

I was actually really, really hoping for a Neural Network trained Mouth Declicker. RX Mouth Declick is maybe the best traditional Mouth Declicker, but as someone who does a lot of long format dialogue editing and cleanup, I've been using Auphonic's Denoiser because it's the only Neural Network Denoiser that is trained to also attenuate Mouth Clicks. Auphonic really speeds up my work and does a better job than RX Mouth Declick when applied broadly (I'll still go in by hand and use RX when needed.) The realtime AI Denoise and DeReverb, as well as the High Quality processing mode (dxRevive/Adobe Podcast?) is nice, but I was honestly expecting those features back in RX10. Curious what else RX 11 has.

The best thing with RX 10 that the prevouis versons don't have is support for VST3 plugins. That alone is worth the cost of RX 10 but I agree the enhansements could be much better, folks.

I will admit.... i was running RX11 as a trial yesterday. Havent used it before, i bought rx10 elements recently (its good for what i had to do) but im just gonna shoot for 11. Had no idea RX11 could run standalone. Thats actually kinda cool. That i might just end up buying the advanced tier.

At least we manage to earn many thousands of euros per month with iZotope's Pro products. We professionally restore old analogue recordings. Who does that anyway? The question is whether the new version is worth it. And iZotope's Repair Assistant is absolutely useless. So it's only worth it if the core products run faster or better.

I think it's time for me to test Protoplug and remember htf LUA works (not that I actually knew how it works since I only used it for like an hour or two when I was modding Project Zomboid...which is probably the most disappointing thing ever...20 years later "Our next update will have NPCs") and code some weirdo hybrid physical modeling things, coz I'm lazy af and plugins/apps these days seem mostly rather underwhelming. I might even use Unity to prototype actual shit or make like dedicated apps, but I haven't used that in like 10 years either. The fuck am I not going to make a VSTD, though. Maybe if that flowstone or whatever the shit it was called was still around. I'm really not in the fucking mood to try and set up MSVS etc on an ancient desktop. Codeblocks (which I used a fair bit after makroshaft decided to well..try to fuck coders in the ass, around 2013-2015, iirc) might still be functional, I dunno. Iirc, there's a way to use Reaper scripts in other DAWs, but I forgot/dunno what that was, could be an option though.

As a longtime Izotope user I feel like each new version just gives us less of what we really want. The last time around I didn’t bother upgrading Ozone or Neutron and just upgraded to RX10, but there’s so many better audio repair tools out there now that I doubt I’ll get RX11 unless it has some killer new tool. I think Izotope cheapened out when they joined Native Instruments.
