Gonna add to the tip about aiming for the head. If you are on controller/console TURN OFF AIM ASSIST. It forces your aim to center mass and just generally feels bad. Not to mention it's a real detriment if trying to use a choke point that causes zombies to enter the crawling state, your aim will drag to follow them and likely just smack the defenses between you and the enemy. ...and it prioritizes the enemy closest to you so if a zombie runs between you and your target your aim will lock on them instead, often leading to a missed finishing blow.

To my knowledge the filter option sorts by "type" Material wepon food medication mods ect. Its not perfect but is great for sorting easily if you have multiple boxes for different categories

Craft the full set of primitive armor. Carry building blocks in the slots to quickly nerdpole and get out of danger. Spikes could br cheesy but are effective early on. Buy a cooking pot ASAP. Throw stones to distract zombies, especially at night.

Man, I have over 500 hours in this game and I still forget you can throw rocks. If I'm throwing anything it's usually dynamite 😂 But nerdpoling is the one skill that more people need to know. Most of the time it's the difference between me scrambling away to safety and my friends all crying about the bear in the alley. The advanced form of nerdpoling is to make your frames into ladder frames with 'R' so you can slap them down and everyone can climb up

Out of most of the new T5 POI (Point Of Interests) I have done, only Army Post 7 and Grover High seem to be the best IMO. Army Post 7 is a huge death trap if you go into the elevator but Gover high is quite doable.

Grover High is at least broken up / segmented in a way that makes it manageable, given that you’re careful and plan properly. I agree, it’s one that I know I’m not going to dread whenever I come across it.

I’d love to see a master guide on tier 6 poi’s. They feel so over inflated and convoluted. Seeing you break them down into sections, the way to approach for quick and easy clearing. Enemy count and triggers. Also, getting points of interest as to where loot crates are in the poi as well as the end loot. All of it would be so entertaining to watch and might make me want to take them on. As of now, I avoid them because they are just a nightmare to clear quickly and the quest rewards usually blow.

I hit zombie in the butt while they're on the ground to punish them - mainly for sneaking up on me without making any noises. I'm a cruel leader who rules with an iron fist. 😂

I go for tier 4 and above as early as possible & set up my base there because the loot bags are better than lower teir - Horde Night loot i get so much good stuff early like steel which by horde night 3 I've got steel bars up When out an about and a high tier is close, bring a zombie there so it shows up with the tier and name kill the zombie and if you get a loto bag good chance be good stuff

I like the fact that the new tier 5 pois are shorter but I don't think they are easier as there are a lot of zombies packed into a smaller area and I swear there are a lot more irradiated Zs and other tough Zs than there used to be before 1.0....

I don’t agree that the new tier 5’s are easier than the old ones ! Take Gover High or the Athletics Field they are easily as hard as any of the legacy ones like the Sham or Shotgun factories in my opinion. Now that may well be down to familiarity and acquired knowledge of a particular poi but some of the new poi’s are rock hard.

I have a question. What are the most important things to keep or gather in the beginning? What are the things you need to worry about the least? I always have inventory problems. I love this game, but I can't get past the beginning because I'm always so overwhelmed.

@dingydingus1217 You mostly want cloth, iron, and mechanical parts. You need cloth for duct tape and bandages, iron for basically everything, and mechanical parts for a variety of recipes. And all three of them allow you to make a workbench, which is a huge upgrade. For the first few days though, it's okay to just focus on food, bullets, and medicine until you can get a hoard going inside of a base. As for the least important things, it's probably stuff like sand, clay, lead, brass, radiators, headlights, and even engines and batteries for the most part. I do like to keep all that I can but you can't use most of them super early on and they're also very easy to scavenge when needed. The one golden item you should always grab imho is cement. When you start making concrete later 1 cement is worth 12 rocks, which doesn't sound like a lot but it ends up helping a ton if you already have a stockpile. And the final thing is to scrap items in your pockets. I never go through the effort of melting down radiators for brass or metal chairs or anything when you get 70% (I think) of the melt value just by scrapping the item. Anything you're going to toss out just try to scrap first to see what it's made of

Everything has uses. There really isn't anything in this game that is 'useless', and nothing sucks more than getting rid of something you don't think you need only to turn around and need it soon after. If you're running out of inventory in the beginning, build a storage crate (or two) and put them down out front of your local trader. That way you've got somewhere to dump your loot until you find/build a place to call home.

Plus, with building blocks you can pick them up if you misplace them. With upgraded blocks you have to destroy them.

Hi. Im total beginer and 1st game I didnt found any cooking pot in whole city, so I died dehydrated. 2nd game I found cooking pots in every house, so i had food and water, BUT my whole day looks like Im farming murky water and somethin to eat to survive. BUT I found myself in situation, that even after reading TONS of books i cant do anything than primitive things. And i have 51% infection and cant find any honey or antibiotics so I surely die again. I saw X videos and tutorials and nowhere is some basics like - Spawn, tutorial, find cooking pot - AND do this for "infinite food/water". Find this asap to build workshop bench/forge ..... I cant move out from wooden/stone/primitive things even after read up bilions of book. What to do ? "And thats what i miss in every tutorial about this game." =)

Short answer - whichever you prefer. Some people like to live in the past on Alpha x when the game was more to their liking, and there's nothing wrong with that. I don't personally feel the need to play the latest experimental, but if it contains something you're desperate for then do so at your own risk of them breaking a bunch of other stuff.

For the campfire, and workstations you don't need to "turn on" before crafting. Hitting the craft button on the item you want to craft with automatically turn it on. You do need to make sure you have enough fuel in it to complete the crafting of the item though.

Before I buy, does the game really ends after 7 days? Cause I want to like.. buold a house and such or something but why even if the gameplay is short, I dont know thet tho, I am completely new and have seen very few people talking about it.

One helpful tip I didn't discover until day 37 when on a vehicle if you press R1/RB when driving it switches between slow/fast driving speeds. For the longest time I thought I could only switch speeds by getting off and running to enable faster driving 😂🤦

What perk is needed for stealth and survivalist perk books?

There is a skill that increases your stealth with a name along the lines of "from the shadows" that boosts your stealth books. If you need to know what other skill books get influenced by. There is a menu showing your skill book progress and tells you which skills boost it.

Urban combat books have some good stealth bonuses, like sneaking over trash without making noise.

A little tip to make Buried Supplies quests a bit easier. Click the start quest and then dig straight down under yourself. Ive found the Supplies spawn in directly below wherever you are standing when you start the quest. So click to accept, look down, & dig. Don't move at all. Just dig straight down.

All three times the supplies were either directly under me or 1 block away to the side or in front. All three times I finished the quest without the circle shrinking 1 time.

How can I get a lot of steel blocks somewhere close to 25 000 steel blocks ? Or may be you can tell how to farm a lot of steel

Steel is simple but slow to farm. The best way to get it is to craft it. It just takes a forge with a crucible, and some iron + clay melted inside of it. Then you just select the steel bars and craft. Unfortunately, steel is expensive and gathering lots of clay and iron can be slow and boring, and the resources smelt in the forge slowly as well.

you can harvest steel from street lamps, power transformers, broken vending machines, and gas pumps. You only get a few per though. Fastest way is run several forges with clay and iron, if you only have one crucible you can switch it between the forges while smelting you steel.

I have to admit this before I watch your vid PreB, Iam now addicted to Valheim and that last vid on on the Greek Mythology looks dope. Real hard talk: 7DTD is dead. It should've been dead 10 years ago... Either way I'm play Valheim now you've made some awesome content over the years but there is no pull for me to watch 7 days any more. I've played the 'new' update and it's still shite. In a sad way I kinda want my 50 quid back. That's what I spent in the kickstarter, what a loss this game is. It was cooked and now it's burnt. Do something else as much as you've done 7Days please! You haven't lost a sub you just need to do more discovery style vids I think. Like take on a new game and play it for the first time with us (your commoners)

"The game is dead" My dude. The game has more regular players nowadays than it ever did back when it first released. It's one of the best survival sandboxes ever if going by player metrics. It's just simply not your cup of tea. Maybe adjust your difficulty/game settings to something that makes it more enjoyable instead of default settings. Valheim is also great, for the record.

the game is a scam the devs have found their SIMPS and now they milk them.. lol the price on STEAM is now 43 EUR lol i would beat my head against the wall if i would buy this unfinished pixel game for such money. I am glad i got it when it was really cheap and thats it have not even played it for many years now there are better SURVIVAL GAMES out there. And the fact is the building in the game simply ruins the immersion It tries to be a CRAFTING SURVIVAL GAME but then you can build structures that totally denies physics.. that simpky ruins the immersion for me. . i rather play Fallout 4 with STALKER MOD pack to get a post apocalyptic survival experience with radiation storms and rains etc and cool graphics
