Mod Description:
This mod aims to make the game a bit harder, it is highly recommended to play on 'Nomad'-difficulty, since the whole ballance is build up arround this. Anything higher can be extremely hard, especially early-game.
Making the game harder comes with some changes, that won't fully be listed yet (for the testversion). There will be a full changelist in the first release. One of those changes are the removal of the Parkour-Perk. Since we aim to make the game a bit more challenging and leaning more towards realism, instead of arcade, jumping 3 blocks high, just doesn't fit the general theme. A lot of vanilla perks have been reworked, some removed and new ones added. At a later point, there will be a detailed changelist, but for now, I suggest to just try it out and read into these.
Gunplay has been finally introduced into 7Days to die with this mod. Guns now have a recoil system similar to popular FPS games in the market.
The damage logic has been reworked. Damage is now mostly bullet/caliber-type tied. The quality-level of your gun only mostly impacts it's durability, price and the amount of item modifiers it can equip.
High caliber ammo does much more damage, than low caliber ammo, but is rare in loot and harder to craft. Armor Piercing ammo generally does 3 times more damage against armored zombies and can penetrate a lot of zombies at once in a horde, while Hollow Point ammo can oneshot-headshot ferals in some cases.
The Zombie HP has been changed to perfectly fit the damage rounds, there is a logic behind every HP and bullet damage. For example: a 12.7x55 round can oneshot-headshot normal Zombies and has a 40% chance of headshot-oneshotting normal ferals. Every bullet follows it's own logic and with random HP, there is generally a randomness factor, if a Zombie can be oneshot with some rounds. Also the span of Normal-Feral-Radiated HP is not as big as before. Radiated Zombies heal HP much quicker, especially the Wight. Wights are much faster, deal much more damage and heal much quicker, beware!
Damage can be impacted by perks, armor and 'Hunters Secret' Item Modifier. The maximum damage bonus with every possible aqurable bonus is 32%, which is also very specific to fit the general ballance.
The Item Modifiers: Cripple 'Em Mod, Rad Remover Mod and The Hunter Mod are renamed to: "Cripple 'Em", "Radiation Disruptor" and "Hunters Secret". These are not T3 item modifiers and are the main 'damage'-type modifiers. Cripple 'Em makes every shot Zombie slow down 30% permanently, Radiation Disruptor removes radiated healing for 20 seconds and Hunters Secret give you +10% damage, reducing the randomness of amounts taken to kill Zombies.
All those factors should clearify, that 'Nomad'-difficulty should be the optimal way of playing this mod.
New guns: This mod adds over 70 guns. Guns are split in Tier 1 - 5. All guns display their accuracy (hip/aimed) and recoil values. They also have detailed descriptions.
Item modifiers: With nearly 200 item modifiers, almost every gun has their respective T1 - 4 attachments. A lot of attachments are highly modular and are very compatible, meaning a grip can fit almost every gun and an AR-15 muzzle adapter will fit most 5.56x45 guns. Every item modifier and gun has a detailed description of their compatibility and requirements.
New ammo and disassembly: There are over 45 new ammo-types. Every caliber has three ammo types: Ball, Armor Piercing and Hollow Point, each having their own usecases. Since you could find ammo, which you don't have ammo for, each piece of ammo can be disassembled to bundles at the workstation to get their full resources back. This prevents painful finding of 'useless' ammo, if you don't like their gun or haven't found fitting guns already.
Economy and traders: Roubles are the new trading currency. Traders sell all new weapons, items and ammo. Every price has been manually checked and was playtested, so don't expect too much unballance. Trader rewards have been overworked too, so you will not accidently see old Dukes. (Keep in mind that roubles can be crafted to bundles, so you don't over-fill your inventory)
Loot overhaul: The whole loot-system has been changed.
Loot containers: The brown boxes, military ammo-box pallets and blue barrels have been made lootable. All shelves have been split in classes: Electronics/Hardware/Food/Liquor/Chemical/Pharma. Those are based on their appearance.

Man, I'm really excited that someone makes a full series of my mod. I just want to drop in here and let you know, I've been actively working on it since one month and expect to fully release in 2-4 months, if no rl stuff happens. The full release will feature a ton of ballance changes (your current version has the bad death penalty and cms/surv12 system from M14, which will be fixed in full relese). The biggest additions will be zombies with random armor and ammo with much more detailed armor penetration and armor damage values. All current perks / perk books are being replaced with action skills and everything craftable will be put in a new learn by doing system. For example doing kills (and/or having certsin game stages or action skill levels) will unlock weapons (AK-74N unlocks AK-74M or the fitting attachments, killing X radiated zombies unlocks the rad remover and so on). Theres much more smaller changes, I can't even mention. Your current version is sadly a bit broken, as I said the cms/surv12 is a bit bad and perk books are broken. There's a lot of unballanced stuff too, but overall it's playable and can definetly deliver a enjoyable experience. -BryanDVS

He didn’t mention it at the time but the reload on that revolver was great. He had one shot left when he reloaded, the game actually animated pulling out the spent casings but leaving the one unfired round in. That’s amazing.

As always, modders working out of love for the game deliver better experiences than the actual devs, who get PAID to work on the game, could ever dream. Thats why I added a helmet light to all starter kitd. Keep in mind it's a T1 helmet light and we have T2 & T3 too which are stronger

the weapons flashlight is so much brighter. Once you'll find one you're set and the darkness really makes the game feel different at night. And nvg's are a gamechanger makes me feel like im doing a night raid on customs in tarkov haha

He did such a good job porting all the EFT Weapons, Ammos, and Consumables over to 7D2D. Also all the animations are spot on to how they are in EFT. As someone who has over 3k hours in EFT it really made my 7D2D playthroughs much more interesting, even after over 6k hours in 7D2D.

Spt mod for tarkov is underrated if you want a single player pve experience. Pvp tarkov is too sweaty for me so spt pve gives the challenge without getting instant head eyes by a cheater

For injectors, health regen works like natural healing: for each health point you regen you loose one food point. If you're not careful you'll instantly loose all your food

God, it's nice to just have iron sights that actually line up properly. I feel like the sights (and the way they are used) in vanilla 7dtd are specifically engineered to be as gross and nonsensical as possible.

Great looking mod. I'd say my only complaint so far might be the way the lighting has been tuned. This mod seems to have artificially adjusted the shadow brightness to the point that things that should still be lit by bounce light are still ridiculously dark. That's not how lighting works. There's a nice middle ground and I think the World Lighting Tuned mod does it best.

This the first channel I've seen play this mod. It looks great but my only complaint is the overly dark shadows where it doesn't make any sense. An attic or basement with no natural light is one thing, but outside by a tree or in a store front with giant uncovered windows when the sun is shining bright is wtf.

This game went to shit after A16. I have 3k hours in it up to A16. Then with the introduction of genius pathing zombies, the game got stupid real quick. Smarter Zombies just made it easier to exploit. Even on nightmare the base game is a joke.

I totally agree. After A16 with the stamina crap and all the work you have to do just to eat and drink, there isn't time to build a really good base. I had over 3k hrs as well and all the fun is gone out of this game. The mods are the only thing that will keep in going.

an interesting thing I noticed, when You reloaded the revolver after first use You said it was the slowest reload but You missed that instead of just emptying the cylinder the animation pulled out the four used casings but not the one bullet that wasn't used as You had reloaded from four shots not the full five :D

Yeah i noticed that while editing, you get a faster reload with the revolver if you do a full reload instead of a tactical reload.

I can't wait for this to come to the mod launcher, i've tried everything under the sun for 2 hours to get this mod unzipped and installed. Keeps saying that its corrupt no matter where i download it from, including github. Tried using winrar as well, developers should make a video with step-by-step instructions for this one.

collect a lot of paper because you need cellulose powder for each different kind of gunpowder

Also id recommend disassembling ammo you're not using since you get 100% resources back. Kind of tedious but if you're doing it as you quest you'll end up with a surplus of ammo. 9x18 and 7.62x25 tend to be bad rounds in tarkov so i turned them all into 5.7 for a stronger round with better armor pen

I have this mod too and I LOVE it so much! I apired this with some other mods like Vanilla Cooking and Wraiths Backpacks and it works so good! My only real complaint is that I can barely find the Attachment Books lol. Ive already maxed Cooking, Medical and some ither and still cant find shit lol

would be nice if difficulty made zombie hits slap on more ailments and do more dmg rather than have a ton more hp. now what would really be great if the higher difficulty added more attack patterns to the zombies
