@@crazedfella4791 Yea, bad building choice, a multi storey house or something made of concrete should do fine. That is also if you're playing on default. Also 2 player makes the game slightly harder, like it's just part of the code, so yea a base might've been better but the Firehouses are go to buildings.

This is a great base. I’m on day 189 and I use a setup very similar to this and I’ve yet to lose a horde night. I do find for melee a spear is best for attacking through scaffolding. Also I read different height requirements everywhere as far as preventing rage out when they fall, mine is 11 high and there is no rage on fall. I personally like using a pole instead of solid cubes for my bridge so some end up falling and looping back around, since they don’t rage I don’t have to worry about chewing on bottom. For those who like that extra barrier between scaffolding; hatches on the ground are a great option. You can put them up to keep distance and close them when you want to be close. Also if anyone is lucky enough to find a sledgie early game you can set one up on right side of your scaffolding (you looking out) and you COULD afk this if you didn’t care about XP, make sure to leave a cube space between bridge and sledgie so they don’t attack it. And reason to have it on the right is so later on you do not trigger demo zombie button. I use my sledgie but I also use guns so I get XP and sledgie is more for entertainment to watch some that get close go flying lol. I wish I had found your video sooner, I had NO CLUE about the vertical yes thing. I’m always worrying and making sure to upgrade from bottom all the way up and turns out I wasted so much cause of it lol.

Great base. I would advise any new play to use Piller .0125 centered for the catwalk, especially if you're playing on harder levels. The regular square block will allow them to overwhelm you and your melee area to take massive damage.

I always build high. I don't (always) build the pods of the intellect series. Most of the time I find a tall POI and build off that like the Smithstone Silos or Dick's Diner (new t1 concrete building.)

The thing I would change is to lower the ramps above fighting position (just above fighting window). This way you prevent zombies from stacking up and standing on each other like you see ~ 27:44. And change the upper central ladder to something more open, as even you hit it quite few times. Personally I make the upper layer horizontal (like parapet / window sill) to have more space to swing.

I turned off horde nights. It's just tedious after a while. Zombies are 100% predictible. Put enough electric wires, a high enough bridge to your battle station, keep'em coming slowly and kill them with either stun baton, shotgun or sniper and it's very easy. Demos can also get killed with snipers, no need to take risk with them. You can even build a corridor so that they always come at the right angle and you can shoot them safely... So in the end it's just about a tedious process and tedious building. If the zombies had more behavioural variety it could be funny but as they are now, horde nights/blood moons are just boring.

go to the Dead Rooster POI. Clear it. Build the melee 'portal' above the main entrance. chop some floor out to leave a single path to the front. Job done for day 7. Total blocks needed, about 20-25 cobblestone. You can build up the side (where the balustrade is) for a couple of blocks to stop later game cop spit, close off the roof openings, and use petrol bombs thrown at the base of the stairs to assist in the kills. This base can be used till about day 42 - 49 depending on your stats / levels and game settings.

@ladybug5913 ай бұрын
At PSEUDO POSSE channel Eerie Knight shows you the new blocks in this 1.0 version, he has a whole section on COP SPIT. He loves building and shows the EFFECTS of many types of blocks on Zombies, he also does very complicated builds in beautifully presented videos. You will learn so much. I keep it all pretty simple but appreciate his work. To simplify: plain SQUARE blocks make it safe to be inside OUT OF SIGHT of Cops. E. Knight shows there are a couple of SPIT RESISTANT BLOCKS to safely melee from behind because once the Cops can see your HEAD they will spit. RAGE mode is fairly simple to overcome if you always stand 15 blocks up in your melee position. DELAYING the flow of the Zombies is important, otherwise you can get overwhelmed and can't repair in time. Use Electric fences, or mazes, bombs quickly clear congestion. Demolishers will always be of concern if they explode and damage the tracking to you. (Our Horde Base always had a risk of catastrophe if we did too much wrong during Horde Night otherwise it stood up to everything - face to face and at risk - great fun.)
