Samsung Galaxy A55 vs A35

The A55 has HDR10+ support, but the A35 does not. Both top off at 1,000 nits. 3:15 The A35 can record ultrawide videos, but only at 1080p@30fps. The A55 supports 4K@30fps on the ultrawide. 5:56 They both use different sensors though. The one on the A35 is smaller.

Based on the videos I watched so far I found out: The A55 has sharper more saturated photos whilst the A35 is slightly cooler and more natural looking The A55 has slightly better looking night photos & videos The A35 has sharper , more natural looking selfies and slightly better battery life Both have good stabilization and audio when recording video and equally good speakers. For an everyday phone The A35 is 90% similar and with what you get with the A55. Would you agree with these? (As I'm planning to get one in next 24 hour) Thanks.

Thank you for your comment. I am also considering one of these. My main focus is a good camera. I do not care about gaming. To me the selfies look much better on the A35. Overall I am impressed by the camera quality of the A35. What I am a bit worrid about is the 6GB RAM of the A35 and the older less powerful Exynos chip. Which phone did you finally chose and how happy are you with it? Thanks

The A35 has a plastic frame compared to the aluminum frame of the A55. In some videos, I saw reviewers using picture editing features on A35, that was said in this video being available only on the A55. The A35 has a generic HDR support, but not HDR10+ like the A55, only being able to play videos on KZbin beyond 1080p. However, HDR on external platforms are not supported.

So, after a long contemplation and consideration, I have decided to hold off from buying the Tecno Camon 30 Premier (mainly because of their lack of updates/software support from TECNO according to many users; and also because the earbud freebies is no longer available, it was only given during the release). I am an everyday general phone user and is primarily looking for phones that can give me smooth performance, battery longevity, durability and storage that can last me for at least 5 years minimum, which the Samsung offers with their long-term support, at least 4-years Android updates, 5 year security updates and sometimes SD Card compatibility. I don't care about mobile gaming at all. Cameras are secondary priority, as long as its realistic and not over-saturated. Fast charging is not necessary either, and I'd rather prefer slow charging for the sake of preserving battery lifespan. What I'm thinking right now is to wait until next year when Samsung releases an upgraded A5+? or A3+? series, preferably with 12GB RAM & 512 Storage / SD Card compatibility, at least. Or maybe when the S24 becomes cheap enough to go for rather than wait for the new A5+? / A3+? series. What do you think of my plan sir? According to your expert analysis, do you think Samsung will release an A series with 12GB RAM & 512 Storage / SD Card compatibility by next year? Or is it better for me to save up for the S series, especially for the 7 year technical support updates? Or maybe you have a better recommendation to me on another phone that provides smooth performance, longevity and storage better than what Samsung can offer? Nice specs. There isn't any difference in terms of audio quality from the video section. I don't have much to say but I've noticed that the A5X series have always had the best price to feature ratio in Samsung midrange phones. I might be right or wrong.
