The fortress of Freca's served well it's purpose in our hands. Fully repaired and well stocked with men, the cowards of Rohan would not dare approach. They sought to take Foldburg perhaps to starve us our supplies, however this simply lets our men in the Bastion move out to attack the cowards from behind their own siege. Further land was gained and more glory to our men. First did Prince Freca meet Rohan's own Théodred in the heat of battle at Gineard. Rohan's beloved prince now only has his head, seated upon a pike for all to see outside the gate of Ginard to serve as a grim trophy, till the birds have taken the last of his flesh. Finally a push into the forest of Fangorn found a small army, stationed outside of a camp deep in that forest. Though the battle is won, the men have not takenfully to heart. Many have expressed, that they feel watched wherever they might go.. It must be some dark sorcery, perhaps the Wizard will be able to alleviate our worries of this seemingly cursed forest.

Building up settlements is my favourite part of the game, I'm currently doing a Reunited Kingdom campaign in EUR and I'm at war with almost everybody Angmar, Dunland, evil Ered Luin, Isengard, Mordor, Harad, Khand, Ar-Ardunaim, every turn takes an hour to fight all the battles, I just want to chill and build roads :D Love your campaigs Izzy, greetings from Estonia!

Ah, Theodred and Eomer both slain. The pacts with the fishermen paid off. Fangorn used to be a colossal forest, spreading all the way to old forest on the border of the shire and Old Man Willow. Upper fangorn is the part that rise up the slopes of the Misty Mountains. Treebeard even makes a reference to walking downhill when heading to Isengard.

Hello, friend. That's a very good episode, as now your economy is thriving. From now on, you should check on your infrastructure to get better troops and gain more income. As for the strategic situation, you are in a much better position han previously, because now you surely have two, perhaps three, armies that can fit well to the situation. Menthar's army can roam along northern Rohan, into the Wold, to claim those two towns there, Rochburg and Tirith Anduin, in order to cut the Rohirrim and press them southwards. Freca and Yagthak can lead the main army, with Lurtz and his Uruk-hai the secondary one, with common destination to Edoras. This way, you won't fear the doomstack, as you'll have more men and capable to take it out of the question. Then, the road will be very open to march to wherever you want. It's good to have two spare generals in Byrig and Dun Larach, they can build watch towers to your northern borders so as to give proper vision in that area - do you REALLY trust the Goblins? - and also to have an eye to the High Elfs. Finally, I would surely give a good garrison in the towns around Enedwaith, as it will be your next target. Have a nice time.

With the Dunlending liberation I could 100% see Foldburg growing from a borderland fort settlement into an actual, proper trading town. Since it is not only centralized between the Dunlending heartland and "Rohan" meaning people HAVE to go through or near it to cross the kingdom AND its very close to Isengard as well. Wawa.

May be helpful to move your capital to reflect the new Rohan acquisitions. Public order and corruption could be a problem once you move your generals out. Duneard would probably be a bit better but Isengard would be the real prize. Unfortunately if you betray Saurman you lose Lurtz but IIRC may be circumvented if you take it in one turn with siege equipment or a spy since the script doesn't have a chance to trigger.
