I found that I was able to play along with the piano on this this much better if I ignored the moving blue highlight and just listened to the piano as I played. Trying to following the highlight was a losing battle, and It seemed I couldn't listen and follow the highlight at the same time. My suggestion is just get rid of the moving highlight. I think it's unnecessary and throws the player off.
