Everybody is talking about Kimi no na wa and A Silent Voice, while we see this masterpiece that was overshadowed by others. It's one of the best movies out there. It's the only movie that made me cry as if I had lost a part of my soul that is important. Their relationship is hard to explain, they are more than friends yet they are less than lovers. They are just like shoes, they are good looking with each other yet they are not fit for the other. She is his wall, and he is her wall. They made their last moments the happiest despite knowing that one day, they will need to leave each other's heart. It's such a bother knowing that the ones you wanted to protect are the hardest ones to keep for yourself.

今日金曜ロードショー劇場版アニメ「君の膵臓をたべたい」を見させていただきました。 もともと本を持っていて、いつか劇場版を見ようと思っておりました。 本でも泣き、実写でも泣き、そして今回も泣きました。 ラストの墓参りの時にあった桜の花は「桜良」が「二人の様子を見に来た」のだと一人思いました。 最後にこの作品をつくった方々本当にありがとうございました。

*For those who still don’t get why it’s called “I want to eat your pancreas” here’s the reason: there’s a myth(or some old ritual) that says eating a certain body part will make the one who eats it body part feel better, ex eat a liver for a better liver. She tells him she wants to “eat his pancreas” because she wants to recover and live since she is secretly afraid of dying and puts up a front. Also in a religion, if you eat a part of someone it’s believed that their soul will stay within you.. which is why he says he wants to “eat her pancreas” since they’ve become very close and even though she’ll die of her illness, he wants her to live on in him...* It was a great movie

@@joshuamaribaligod8453 me too, Shigatsu Kimi Uso and Kimi no Suizou has same type of character, Sakura and Kaori is cheerful and have deadly illness, while Kousei and Haruki is gloomy person, but the difference is Kaori keep the illness secret to Kousei/main character, while Sakura not keep the illness secret to Haruki/main character, and Kousei also have some friend but Haruki is alone but both of KimiUso and KimiSui is a great anime, worth to watch
