Here are some tips about our culture; 1. We Indonesians love our dishes and drinks to be sweet and spicy. The intensity of flavors can be quite strong. 2. Always use your right hand, for example, when you pay and receive change, or when you eat. The left hand is considered unclean because it is mostly used for personal hygiene after going to the restroom. 3. We love to hang out with friends, siblings, and coworkers, especially on the weekend when most of us engage in family activities. That's why there are many places with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere that supports community gatherings. 4. Due to the majority religion, most of us are morning people and have breakfast a little earlier. We tend to avoid sweet dishes for breakfast, although I'm not sure why. Here are some breakfast menu recommendations: bubur ayam, lontong sayur, mie ayam, nasi uduk, nasi kuning - all simple rice-based dishes with various toppings. Oh we also like everything that fries such as bakwan/bala-bala. Have a great experience, stay healthy, and may your channel grow!

All tourist said that JCo is the best donut. But most Indonesian (I believe) will say that potato donat is better than JCo. Unfortunately potato donat is home made product, not easy to find in the market.

I like the Strawberry (called Berry Spears) and Blueberry (called Blue Berrymore) ones.. They weren't that sweet, the inside filling were cream cheese ones and combined with the sour of strawberry and blueberry, perfect combination for me! 😘 The other favorite of mine are Cheese Cakelicious, as the name suggested, it filled with cream cheese too, and topped with Oreo crumbs! And the last 2 but not the least favorites, are Heaven Berry and Green Tease! Heaven Berry had a sour strawberry cream inside and Green Tease had a bit bitterness of Green Tea as its topping and filling! Love on those 5 donuts combinations!

Please while you are still in Jakarta. Look for Donat Bahagia in Cipete Raya. Its the best Donat that I have ever taste. Waaaaay better than JCo in my opinion.
