As a young man from the foothills of the Carolinas, I just want to say thank you J Cole. I remember, in 2014 you came to Raleigh for the Dollar and a Dream Tour where tickets were literally a dollar. The crowd was so deep, you did 2 shows, and we chanted for a third show. Fortunately you couldn't do a third show so you came out and greeted the folks who couldn't get in. You dapped me up once, I jumped back in line and you dapped me up again then signed my dollar. And I still have it. You listened to a young brother spit then told an elder lady to come up so you could meet her because it was her birthday. Thank you bro, we appreciate you.

I really needed these two songs. I just found out my blood brother was shot today in the abdomen luckily he survived it and is now stabilized. I was stuck in my head wondering if he was gonna be okay, stomach was turning, hands was shaking, so I needed something to take my mind off it. Hearing these dope ass life listen lyrics and having to play them back to back helped me pass time until I found out he was okay. Keep these type of stuff coming, when he’s gets out of the hospital, ima chill with him and play this music while he recovers on bed rest.

His soul tells a story. Extremely unique and one of the past that brings us to the present moment with possible hopes for the future. It’s almost impossible not to fall in love with him, being his music is nothing more than an element of him.even in his pride and ego he apologizes for it while learning from it and writing about it. However highlighting someone’s envy for you gives your ego will enough to exist. Which will keep you falling and dying. Ego doesn’t belong in the mind state of a happy home. Heaven is for those who seeks a complete peace of mind. Ego keeps you in the MIDDLE. (Kill)ing the ego (Ed)ucates your soul while nurturing and (ward)ing off any negative energies that seek to destroy you. Love is 🔐

Saint Saii Bro, there’s a difference between bars, and what he has in my opinion. He’s different. It hits so good, but it’s like not exactly bars. That leads me to question this. Whats better bars, good sounding music, or thoughtful music. I just don’t know
@iblameabel4 жыл бұрын
Welfare Greens that’s where it being a legend comes into play. There’s countless and I mean countless rappers that fit either one of those criteria’s but there’s very few that can fit all three, and only a bunch out of each generation that can do 2.
@iblameabel4 жыл бұрын
Saint Saii man I’ve listened to literally every Cole song. He’s not that crazy, but you can tell his heart and intentions through his music and he is man enough to speak his thoughts. But the world has changed to where that’s the upper tier of artists. When back when the world didn’t have the internet, that was everyone and you’d have to have A LOT more to even get known. That’s why people get disrespected when someone compares themselves to Tupac. Not that he was a god, but because he never put himself above anyone else and let what he was, show.
