I really don't understand why people don't like J. Cole. He's a genuine dude who puts nothing but realness in his music. His real opinion and real perspectives on things, lyrically. He doesn't force it on anyone, doesn't try to preach and doesn't try to be deep like some “lyrical” rappers do. Makes it so everyone understands him and is on the same page with em. He even fucks wit "mumble rappers" or trap rappers as he's went on Tour with Young Thug and called him a "genius". I don't see what's not to like.
