For Kendrick, it‘s also cultural. K-Dot literally said he wants to protect the Hip Hop culture from colonizers like Drake. He doesn‘t only want Drake gone. He wants to destroy colorism and he sees Drake as a prime example.

@@zibelebruciebenubrucieb8850 Where did I write that Kendrick *WILL SUCCEED* in destroying all colorist culture vultures like Drake? - Obviously, K-Dot will fail in that regard because there is always going to be a new Elvis. Drake is just the latest incarnation. *BUT* he succeeded in putting the message out there. Now, people see Drake as a deadbeat dad, a culture vulture (especially targeting Atlanta), and a PDF file. Drake won't go anywhere. Remember, even Cosby, Weinstein, and Kevin Spacey are technically free, now. And Drake stans don't mind him grooming 14-year-old Millie Bobby Brown with »boys advice« and »dinner dates« while texting her »all the time« that he »misses her«. Or kissing 17-year-old groupies on the mouth live on stage and telling them that their beasts fell good. Or that he's waiting for Billie Eilish to turn 18. Or that he is »supporting« random female high school basketball players … He'll be fine.

Cole made a good move haha he came out this thing squeaky clean 🧼 While the other two got a whole slew of dirt exposed against them!! We were all upset at Cole at the time…Even though Kenny had a few little subs for Cole, I think we can expect some new Cole and Kendrick music together in the near future!

The thing about drake saying "top wanna piece it up" was not based on top trynna diffuse the situation. It was based on the idea that dot may have had tensions with top because of a potential fear of not being able to take down drake, as well as the premise that kendrick coukdnt work with dave frees, who he got into business with for pgLang. Thats why kendrick sent a salute to top on euphoria saying "who the fuck they think they playing with"

How did people not figure this out yet? Everyone thought dot was coming after both of em. The light pack line was initially thought to be bout Cole, obviously now we know it's bout daylyt. This paints the picture of Cole making a diss, dot calling him up and being like, yo ride it out till the 7th but drop it, this aint about you. Drake is adobe and I'm going after him. This relating to k dots mothers story, would obviously result in a public apology saying things like, my chins out, hit me back, but we good.

So I’ve listened to all the diss tracks multiple times, and as someone that likes both artists from a far. And I do think there’s something in the notion that Kendrick could simple just open his mouth and get a Grammy. People would have gassed up whatever he put out it seems, because some of his diss tracks weren’t that great. Not like us is easily the best of them all, but the rest weren’t that great. Fans tried to say meet the grahams was as good as family matters, just because he dropped it 30 mins later…the bias is clear with opinions like that. I think it was a classic case of quantity vs quality, drake had the more quality diss tracks with push ups and family matters, whereas Kendrick has the quantity, not like us was the best one easily, but people gassed everything he put out, and the only reason is…Kanye fans, future fans, the weekend fans, metro fans, Kendrick fans, Rick Ross fans etc all have united in saying drake lost no matter what. If drake lost it’s on sheer quantity not on the quality of the diss tracks, the only Kendrick track people are gassing still is not like us…for a reason, whereas I’m still hearing push ups and family matters. This was a popularity contest drake just couldn’t win, because it was literally half of hip hop fans against him 😂. Even the swifties don’t like drake because they think he sent subliminal shots at Taylor 😂.

I'm an OG. My musicality began WAY before hip hop. None of my friends today EVER talk about hip hop. When we were in high school it didn't even exist in the MIDWEST. We we admirers of Soul, Funk and Hard Rock. That being said. The minute Drake hit the scene I saw RIGHT THROUGH him. Dude was suspect from day one, starting with the phony Foundational Black American (FBA) accent from a dude from Canada. Game over from day, folks. But I'm glad people are waking up to this, at last.
