A great artist, a great song, but this is why I'd rather listen to a studio recording, because listening to all those seeking "self-actualization" in imagined intimacy with the artist with their incessant whistling, yelling and intrusive racket-making, throughout, frankly wrecks the whole thing for me. Did Souther like it? Maybe, I dunno. But 25% of the way through this, they still hadn't shut up. So I checked out.
