Whereas a 3/4 time signature has 3 beats every bar, like 1-2-3/1-2-3. So usually you have to think a bit more about where your drums are going. in this beat dilla does: kick-hat-hat-snare-hat-hat/kick-hat-hat/snare-hat-hat and so on.
