I don't feel sad after watching this, but rather blessed. Blessed that in JD's short life, he left us with his ultimate gift. His music was apart of his soul. This doc captured that and paid homage to J in a great way.

Dilla was the best!! IS still the best. It's so amazing to see how many people have taken his music and honored him by doing tributes. The Roots have a free download called "Roots Dilla joints". It's awesome!! Miguel Atwood-Ferguson put out Suite for Ma Dukes. I think Dilla would be blown away at how much he affected people. I'm still discovering beats till this day that I didn't know he did. Truly a beautiful soul.

ya know, i went into the CD store at the mall in my city, and i went straight into the hip hop section and i was surprised when i saw people like MF DOOM and all of his different personas, J Dilla, A Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, and several other great artists and i was just so happy that J Dilla was in there, i bought all of his CD's the store owned and i told the cashier thank you for having good music, and he looks at me and says "Dilla may be dead, but his legacy lives on"
