With Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth now released, I decided to mix togther the J.E.N.O.V.A boss themes into one large track for all to enjoy! (I did a little audio processing too :) )

Rebirth version of JENOVAs theme is something of another masterpiece especially [ Lifeclinger ] Phase 2 and 3 it gets really tense and powerful

I truly think that Jenova's one of the best FF villains of all time she is a Lovecraftian creature that we can't fully comprehend.

I would say poorly written, her derivatives like Eve from Parasite Eve and Miang from Xenogears are more explored. Even so, witches from ff8 and Lavos from Chrono Tigger have more script space and they are based on Jenova's prototype. FF 7 has a lot of things cut.

Once we get the Ever Crisis version you could incorporate that one before the Remake version. Since it was supposed to come out earlier and EC music is 100% faithuful to the OG music and just uses real instruments instead. EC version just came out with the new chapter. Hell you could maybe even do something like: Ever Crisis (basically OG with real instruments) > Advent Children ver. > Dreamweaver (Quickening in JP) > Emergent (Birth in JP) > Lifeclinger (Life in JP) Basically the chronological order of the story, since Remake trilogy has post-AC Seph and Aerith in the story.

Well, I've seen that Ever Crisis now has the JENOVA Birthday fight available, and I've heard that OST! I'll see if I can nab it from the game files 😉 Edit: I have a copy of the EC version!

When sephiroth was describing the emotions felt of aerith loss to the party…I felt that through the fight, then my head started to bob when 2nd phase kicked in….then my imaginary air guitar manifested on the 3rd and final phase
