Good summary... she's been on PC for a while with very similar set up and stats. You hardly see them anymore... useful for spotting, cap control and area denial but useless in a gunfight. Get spotted or radared and you're dead. Definitely a meme boat. Thanks for the video

this ship needs to be used it in a division with Friesland. "Max tops and max guns" Fry lays the smoke for you to launch a massive spread through the cap and into enemy smokescreens. if you are solo then give the enemy DD hell.

So this is a Torp first...torp always ship...that can be fun. I would say it's likely best not to fire the guns unless you encounter a severely low health destroyer, a plastic bottle, or an abandoned life preserver. I'm starting to think that this ship is not all that bad...just different, probably designed for torpedo enthusiasts who enjoy lurking about, depositing torpedos here & there for controlling a zone, spotting, or retreating with the ability to leave something for the enemy to think about before ya regroup. It's basically a death by a thousand cuts regarding its torpedos. This ship is designed to break the enemies concentration out there IF used as intended. It's rather one dimensional but that can be a fun break from the normal. I must say that I'm intrigued by this odd ship. I can see Metajerk getting a Kraken in the damn thing with 35-40 torpedo strikes in a single match because he's a fan of the perfectly odd ship.

Perceptive can also reveal which type of DD I’m more likely to face up aggainst. Let’s say enemy team has two torp boats and a friesland is pretty easy to guess which one is closest to you, when you have been tagged by perceptive. ( doesn’t work every time since some of the cruisers can have this skill).

Ronmeister! I'm calling this a dud. T3 hull in T7, what were they thinking? And no smoke? T7 and T8 gunboats will shred this this not to mention secondaries. Takes a good destroyer player to make this work, and most players are dead average, so it will be yolo, spam torps and die. I'm passing on this one. But great first look video thanks for sharing.

Taking a Grandpa's Tin Can into a high tier of fast loading guns. Also you could use another American Destroyer commander to increase the torpedo range.

All i can say is that its a bloody fun little ship to play with 😆 ... People are scared of torps, so it has a pretty big impact on a game. Even with the torp damage not being to good, if you time it right you can do a lot of flood damage. First game i played i just wanted to get as many torps in the water as could so didnt try to get floods ... Ended up with 21 torp hits and only 133k damage ... Still good damage, but i wish they were japanese torps

Not going to lie I feel like this should have been a premium to pick up for doubloons in the shop. Why developers decided this to be the campaign ship is kind of funny. Not trying to be a Debbie downer but there could have been something more viable out there.

I’m actually kinda worried what this will do to T7… T7 seemed to be the “sweet spot” for player base capabilities. But by adding another campaign ship and putting it in the hands of any old potato (and a ship so hopelessly one-dimensional as this boat), it’s going to be a nightmare playing T7 for a while…. If you spawn with a blue Jager, don’t expect him to live long. If you spawn opposite a red Jager, I hope you have sonar… Or do like I plan to do- play radar cruisers and the Black/Loyang all that week. 🤣

I already hate Kagero because its awfully terrible, definitely not gonna pick this up. Torpedo DDs sucks. You can't hit anything in Kagero with its 5km torp detection range, the guns are useless and you're dead in a blink if you ever get spotted. That thing needs a rework

Great video as always! Overall, this is a pretty underwhelming update. I still got the Admiralty for the commander goodies and the AL Colorado commander. Everything else looks pretty blah, imo. Keep up the great content!

I got it, but I am not impressed also she to me calling her a tier 7 Shimakaze is over doing it. Yes it has fast torpedoes, reload, heals, but that is it. It lacks gun of even some tier 3 or 4 DD as the tier 7 shimakaze it should have a bit better guns. Its torpedoes are not to strong for tier 7 ot that many with out reload. Bad AA something needed in high tier I have no clue why this ship is at 7. Is it because of fast torpedoes, reload, heals is that IT? Because its not good enough then. When I saw this ship I saw a tier 3 or 4 looking ship pushed to tier VII. Were it is very outclassed this should be placed in tier 3. Why it fit right in, as at Tier 3 carriers are not as bad so AA is not that to big a deal Carriers are more nuisance, as they do so little damage. Plus you fight tier 4 ships who are not to bad. If placed it in Tier 4 you face Tier 5 Carriers, were AA is now needed far more as planes can now do far more, let along Tier 7 were planes can kill you fast. I say if put a Tier 3 it be the Shimakaze,

The Hisenyang is can't pump out 12 torps every 55 seconds. This thing is about 100 percent spam. The name of the game is floods. Stagger your torps and spam the lanes and hope to get permanent floods. Very different playstyle from the Hisenyang.
