Wv44 looks good unfortunately it feels like tier 6 gets a hard time being up tiered against tier 7 alot and the fact tier 7 get legendry modules it makes it even worse for tier 6.

Tier 7 is no fun this update. Fuck that shit. How did Wargaming think this thing was ok. There are tactics to avoid it temporarily but if it lasts until the end of the battle it's an absolute menace.

Very interesting day today....used the stockpiled global xp to get the Chkolav instead of Pommern B spent 20 and got Alaska B in the 2nd of the 5 boxes followed by P. Bagraton B in the 5th....so 3 of the 4 ships collected I think I'm done as far as Balck Friday goes lol

Picardie looks interesting. Better potential as a secondary French bb since you have 130s instead of 100s like flandre and the la foudre. West Virginia on the other hand doesn’t look very good at least not as a secondary ship. Pushing into enemies at 21 knots will be endless suffering

Zzzz…what? Aaron has a historical question? I’m on it! OK, so basically she’s the refit version of the ship after being raised from the mud of Pearl Harbor, and (extensively) refit on the West Coast. You could call it the California Treatment, since the idea behind refitting both ships was essentially the same. Interesting enough, though, no two Pearl Harbor refit ships were done exactly alike. And yes, the added torpedo defense system added additional “armor “, even though the belt stayed the same. She went on to be the main ship that plastered Yamashiro (Fuso’s sister) at Surigao Strait. Her more modern fire control radar allowed her to fire sooner and more accurately, than the other battleships that were with her…I’ve seen some sources say that Pennsylvania, which was hardly damaged at Pearl, only got off a salvo or two, for lack of a firing solution…good for shore bombardment, but not hitting a moving ship at night.

Picardi is a fun brawler! Azure lane Dunkirk with secondaries is fun as hell! A little clunky but man I want this thing! And 3 of the turrets swing 360 I think. Great ship tho Also, the he on this ship is pretty good too

WV 44 is alright, but it's so damn squishy. Anything with 15 inch guns or bigger, which is almost everything tier 6 and up just rips it apart.

They better not put WV '44 in a crate like they did Scharnhorst '43. I swear, man.

WV44 got the "California style" modernization after Pearl Harbor just like Cali herself, so she's extremely similar but with bigger (and less of them) guns and longer secondaries. She had to be raised from the Pearl Harbor floor first!
