I'm so impressed by your words about knowing only rap but willing to widen your horizons. That's so sincere and humble. Thank you. Also, don't you worry about the length of your BTS reactions. Please, stop the video and comment as much as you need. ARMY loves to see it all, we'll be there for every second of it to hear your opinion and thoughts. Borahae..

J Cole is actually one of the artists that j hope looks up to and met at Lollapalooza.. Pause and comment as much as you need, we'd rather you do this instead of talking over the MV and Armies don't care how long the video is we'll watch

I really hope you watch their Born Sinner homage to J Cole. The track they did is called Born Singer, and they put it out unofficially a looooong time ago when they were still "nobodies." They have a live performance of it from their Proof Live mini-show in 2022 during lockdown. They sing a few other songs during it, and even get Anderson Paak to join them for a minute.

If you are a hiphop artist looking to stretch yourself in making your own music, I feel like you would resonate so much with SUGA and RM of BTS. Both of them have been fearless going from underground rap to every genre you can imagine. Suga has written songs of different genres for other artists, as well as produced for both others and for BTS. A good chunk of his solo songs (amidst all the face-melting rap) are introspective melodic songs. RM has ranged from spit in your face rap to indie rap to soul rap, and has written soulful songs for other members as well. The industry was ready to burn them alive for daring to go from underground to experimental, and I can only imagine what the world would be like if they had given up back then.

Also bts has a song called born singer after jcoles song born sinner but they wrote their own lyrics tho about their struggles.

Taylor Mari's introduction is a classic! But only accurate to 2022 although she has said she might put out an update once they are all sprung from their military service this coming summer. There is a relatively new intro that is only about 20 minutes that comes from boracity and for brand new reactors, I think it's a great place to start. It also includes snippets of their more recent music. It's called A guide to BTS: for haters, skeptics and non-pop fans. (Not that you necessarily fit into any of those categories!) But it is a great short intro to who is who. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHyskHmfnpeCbbcsi=UO5dLXQ3uuFtFSWy

I highly recommend you to watch the Disonissos stage. MMA 2019 BTS Intro: Persona + Boy In Luv + Boy With Luv + Mikrokosmos + Dionysus If you see Dynamite Dance Break on the 2020 MMA stage, I think you will really like it. Be sure to watch the 2018.2019 MMA BTS performance stage as well. BTS' performances at the Jimmy Fallon Show and the James Gordon Show from 2018 to 2021 are also the best.

All 3 BTS rappers have solo work as well as rapline songs, but why not check out Suga aka Agust D Daechwita and Snooze, also RM Wildflower and Groin.

I think the only track you heard from BTS so far is Butter, which is a fun song but it's not their usual style. They originally started with hip hop, but over the years they experimented with many different genres. For another good collab, try the song RM did with Wale back in 2017 called 'Change'. Wale heard RM's first mixtape when BTS were still pretty much unknown, and predicted they were gonna be huge. He was definitely proven right on that one!

oh, if youre also an artist, bts is perfect to you. their introspective lyrics are very inspiring. i'm sure fellow armys already gave you tons of recommendations so i'll only say that its important to really read the lyrics. do whatever you're more comfortable with - watch first without subs and then with or just pause and rewind. enjoy your journey

A Long and Updated Guide to BTS 2024 is the most current one (very long though.. some do it in parts). J-Hope "On the Stage" tour beginning February 28 until June 1 (beginning in Korea and then various cities in USA as well as other countries, ending in Japan)
