This was very hard to watch. Seeing hobi's smiles and giggles, Jungkook's eyes, Jimin's hugs, Yoongi's silence, Namjoon tearing up, tae telling hobi not to forget him and gave him a little note to keep this all had me so emotional. And the fact that this is the first time that the rap line will be separated in 13 years. I love how everyone's eyes lit up the moment Jin came. Hobi is so precious I'm going to miss him so much. I'm praying that he has good health and comes back to us safely.

I remember when RM was emotional with Jin, too. They interviewed him at the end and he said he was worried for Jin bc of the cold weather. Then for Indigo promotions when the interviewer asked about Jin, his voice was cracking. Some of us often think of the maknae line but we forget about the hyungs and rap line hurting, too.

I started tearing up the second Jimin hugged Hobi and then really lost it when RM started crying. I'm so proud of Hobi and Jin and all of these men for serving with honor and humility. Jimin's intense hugs to both J-hope and JK, RM and JK crying, everyone being so happy to see Jin, but sad to have to let another one go. I was sobbing. They are all so tightly enmeshed with each other, but I really believe that Hobi is the Soul and the glue of the group. Aargh, just come back safe and sound, Hobi and Jin. Yoongi will apparently do Civil Service only, because of his shoulder injury, so thank God for small favors. I am just grateful they have each other and I am not going through this alone, grateful for this community of fans here on You Tube. Borahae, People! You are my tribe.

Nico, it occurred to me today that Jin is about one-third of the way through his enlistment already! The other members expressed their admiration for his physical transformation, which is great to see, of course! As a military veteran myself, I know that military service does change you, in the sense of refining certain aspects of yourself and bringing out a few things from inside you that you never used before. However, it does not change who you are in essence. Unless you end up in a traumatic/combat situation or something, upon your discharge you will find yourself improved in many ways. That was my experience. I hope that all 7 of our beloved Bangtan men will emerge from their service with greater nuance as people, stronger, more resolute, and ready to take on the world again with a fresh perspective! BTS+ARMY Forever!!!💟

So proud of Hobi , he is going to make an amazing soldier. He always has an encouraging word for anyone who needs it, he is our supportive sunshine that always brightens up Armys lives and I know he will do the same for the soldiers. RM never fails to make us cry, im sure it was hard on him and all the guys. Glad to see Jin got the day off to see hobi off and in a way welcome him into the military. Well again so proud of our sunshine I wish him all the best and come back smiling and with that infectious laughing we have come to love. I will definitely miss him.

💜 RM showing such emotion 💔 really took me by surprise. I know he loves Hobi and as the ‘94 Line, they have a special friendship. But Namjoon is always so disciplined about keeping his emotions in check. Hobi leaving for his military duty obviously hit RM really hard. I truly understand your feels on this. From a view of watching my own family go one by one into the military. You always have to find something to smile or laugh about. I hope it's easing up a bit in these days since Hobi left, everyone. I understand how emotional it makes us feel, how tough it is. I mean, what are we to do for sunshine when our sunshine has been hidden away, from us, right? I fel like if we all try hard & muster up our strength just a tiny bit each, and we hear eachother, comfort eachother, just like we know Hobi and Jin would want us to be doing, then we'll get through this. Our pain means we love them, truly and that is a beautiful thing .Beautiful...even though sometimes love hurts like this, remember it is beautiful this love exists. I'm trying to look to the examples that I've watched BTS set in front of me, the ways they handled tough things that hurt I know .they didn't stop what they knew they needed to do, they kept going until the way they felt changed....they took care of eachother & worked hard. They talked with each other, they tried to resolve problems & also they stayed strong for eachother, which kept them all strong together.. WE can use their good examples and just keep going, one day at a time. Life will get better, they will return & boy will we all be smiling then. Love you all Fam!

I watched the 1st version without English subtitles but the subs always help for greater context. First off, Hobi looks so cute with his buzz cut and I was thankful his positive sunny disposition was shining even through the rain 😍I got the sense they were all working hard to be as upbeat and positive for each other as possible, which I admire. I noticed Yoongi disappeared from view and I started thinking maybe the moment was a bit overwhelming for him, which makes complete sense. I'm sorry we couldn't see Jin on camera but I'm happy we got the pictures of him looking WWH 😍I was already in tears from pressing play but Jimin's hug and RM's emotions got me 😭I give much love and respect to all of them for the duty they fulfill for their country 💜OT7 for life 💜

A loving embrace from Jimin could heal us all I think. I love how he was sending his friend off to the very last moment. Even though they don’t probably see each other that often nowadays, the surety of distance is hitting them hard after so many years together and growing to love each other so much. The way their eyes light up when they see Jin, the way they smile through their sadness is such an example of healthy relationship. Also the way they share so much with us is unbelievable to me, so special. Aren’t we glad they exist in this age of media? First time watching with the English subs and it wasn't any easier. Jin hurt cuz he was the first. Hobi hit in a totally different way. Hes our sunshine. Always so positive and just comforting. It was fitting that it rained that day. They took our sunshine away. I know he'll be back but it feels emptier each time they go. We still have 5 more to go! I hope 2 go together so there isn't just one at the end. Was so happy to see Jin there! The oldest still looking out for the younger ones. 💜

Don’t know if I will last thru all 7. They have held me up for so long that I feel like my safety net is tearing. I know this is something they are proud to be fulfilling but it still hurts. Namjoon broke me. He is their pillar of strength. They look on all of their faces when Jin arrived was priceless. To have relationships such as theirs is rare. I think it's wonderful and commendable that our BTS fellows allowed us to be apart of this occasion. Seasons change. It is bittersweet I am proud of them for their decision to serve their country it says a lot about their character and commitment they have such a good work ethic as well they have proven that through their music and talent and time that they share their hard work. I feel like I know them I want them to be happy they're definitely brothers and bond so well. I don't think I'll ever love a band more than I love BTS. I watched this when it was released, even though I didn't understand what they were saying. What struck me was the rain. Like Heaven crying in sympathy with Army, the sunshine literally going away the day our Hobi left. But, just like the weather, it won't last forever. Soon our Hoseok will be back, shining brighter than ever! Namjoon's emotion hit me hard, as well as JK's display of affection, as though he was trying hard to get enough of Hobi to last. Totally relate to that. Loved seeing ot7 and so proud of Hobi and Jin. Blazing the trail for their brothers and fulfilling their duty. Hwaiting, Army! And hwaiting, sweet Jay!

Seeing you get emotional round about the same time I felt emotional really felt comforting. Although I was only watching you through the screen it felt as if we were in this together. As much as my family/friends may try to understand my love for BTS, they dont understand why seeing Hobi enter the military makes me sad. ARMYs are really in this together.

Just like Chapter 2 BTS itself I have mixed emotions about Hobi’s enlistment. On the one hand I’m thinking the sooner all go in the sooner all 7 can resume as a group. Yet, in the very same breath, I get sad and just know how much I’ll miss them. It’s been truly wonderful seeing their individual selves blossom in their various solo activities but at the same time I yearn for OT7 content. So yeah, a lot of conflicting emotions here. As for this video, I teared up at Jimin’s hugs to Hobi & JK but sobbed (ugly cry) when Nam Joon cried. I’m really grateful to BTS though for doing the very best they can in this situation. From Jin preparing all those monthly video messages for us to all the members reassuring us that they too long for 2025

It is so difficult to see hobi enlist, as Jimin said they are going one by one. It is really breaking my heart. This week is not getting any better, I cried when jhope went for his military service and then we were all shaken by the sad news of moonbin passing. To all of you out there please stay healthy, ask for help if you need one. Let's be nice to each other and we need to make sure to be supportive of our idols no matter what and let's not expect them to always be strong 💜💜💜💜

😢 hello, from Spain, an army mom, it was hard to see this farewell, as much as Jin's, but it is very beautiful to see how they love and support each other, they are so tender, affectionate and gentle with each other, Even V gave him a little memory so he doesn't forget him , it really is lovely to see you all together, wishing you the best of luck and that it passes quickly , To be able to enjoy all that beautiful family again, we will be there a lot but we will wait for you 💜🫰🇪🇦

I watched this as soon as it was released and I kept thinking Hobi is such a bright light….our sunshine. His smile and thumbs up at the end made me lose it. My husband who isn’t ARMY but absolutely loves the Jack in the Box album hugged me and said he’ll be ok. Then I really couldn’t stop crying. Now watching with you seeing the subtitles, I’m losing it all over again, especially with you and RM. I’m so glad to be ARMY 💜 and so happy I’m not alone 💜

I was soooo so pleased that Jin was able to be there. He would of course be so thoughtful as to save some leave for Hobi. I knew Jimin would be rough to see because, as RM says, "Hoseok is first with Jimin." But RM 😪 Hobi is his same-year friend, like Jimin and V are to each other, so the relationship is a relief valve for RM where he doesn't have to be leader all the time. Their love for each other is part of the Bangtan magic. And Hope looks great with the short hair. They are proud sons of Korea. While others are trying to escape it, they are doing their duty willingly. We will support them and be waiting. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 You are so correct Nico - he will bring so much to the situation.

I was literally in the middle of a lecture when I first saw the pictures that were released and I almost broke down immediately. I'm already really missing him but I can take solace in the fact that he'll be back soon 🙂
