Im glad to see J.I.D being pushed to the forefront in the game because we already established that he got so much talent its just that we need to shed some light in his direction because people be sleeping on him. Great record from J.I.D to shoutouts to that and great looking out the the reaction Lost In Vegas.

@pw64677 жыл бұрын
i think one of the reasons why guys like this don't get enough credit is because you have to actively listen to this song to really appreciate it. A lot of people just want to throw something on in the background that has a bangin beat and sounds smooth which leads to many artists being popular even if there isn't much depth to their music. I'm guilty of this. If I'm gaming or in the car or whatever I might be doing I can't really afford to sit there and listen to someone like JID or Oswin Benjamin. With that said I love diving into the lyrics with you guys and I am happy that you use your platform to promote artists like this

Not a big rap/hip hop fan (and most of the rap I do like is from the 80s), but I can appreciate the talent involved in crafting lyrics like these (thanks for breaking them down). Sandy Lewis mentioned poetry, and that's what we have here. An economy of rhythmic words that hold a wealth of meaning far beyond what is at first apparent. In this genre, J.I.D. isn't just a skilled technician; he's an artist. Great vid, gentlemen.
