Summary:
Is it possible to observe purely, clearly, without any conclusions, direction or motive?
When I observe fear, that fear is me; I am not separate from that fear.
The observer is the observed. Is that a truth or just a conclusion?
In observation there is no observer to observe because there is only the fact. I am not separate from fear. Then what is the need for analysis?
Do you personally see the fact that anger is you?
Clarity and intelligence are not yours or mine.
Can you observe a person without any prejudice or concept?
We are always looking with the burden of the past, so there is no actual looking.
Is it possible not to record, except what is absolutely necessary?
The mind is constantly occupied and in that occupation you cannot listen or see clearly. Why is the brain occupied?
Is my consciousness or my brain really mine?

These discussions and talks require from us to really pay attention to what is being said. Unless each word is fully present in our minds, we will never grasp the reality of what is being said. We can keep on looking for years at the finger and not a single time noticing the moon it's pointing to. It's really about how serious we are when we are listening. Krishnamurti has always emphasized this point, but it can be missed quite easily.

Jayakar wants to know "How." And K is not going to give her a system, but implores "Pure observation" and staying with the whole movement of the thought. Am I observing what is as is or do I see it through my burdens of the past?

JK here says "you are your anger" and in sense that's true, but then others (like Tolle) have said don't make it your identity. You are just a being, and by saying you are anger, you're feeding this form called anger that is not really you. Still others talk about non-division so JK is right.

Punditji seems to be saying that you dissect the process through analysis then observation is possible. Krishnaji is saying drop all that and just look. Look at things for the first time. Punditji is also saying that mounting pressures are so strong one loses the ground. The release comes by staying with these pressures. Punditji also brought the idea of Sakti Pad ( accidental breaking or happening ). Krishnaji also talks about a flash of insight. These flashes of insight are well known in the scientific world but they are limited to some particular area. Some other discussions Punditji abstains himself from relating Sakti Pad to scientific insight.

K asks, ...Can we hold the energy of beauty as if a vessel holding water?...I say, Yes we can. But we do not do that ourselves or deliberately. This energy of great beauty is "me" as it unfolds. Just as anger is me when "anger is". That's my neurons and body creating those emotions and so on. But pure and tremendous love only arises when consciousness is not. And it cannot be understood through thinking/thought. The very second one starts to think about what is going on in that precious moment (the very moment in which that energy unfolds is itself within the field of mind), then that beauty is instantly gone. It is gone bcz self has entered mind again in consciousness and has supplanted that tremendous beauty w its nonsense of grabbing after and possessing everything through abstraction. That grabbing after is again FEAR. And wherever there is fear, LOVE is not. That is an absolute having no exceptions...😮

is it not a condrediction when he said on one side fear is me and on the other side there is no me, the me is a bundel of past, memory etc. It has to call fear is the me, it is exactly so illusery like the me, therefor you can life a life without fear, without illusions... sry for my english, greatings from germany

These ppl are thinking that observation (the way Krishnamurti means) is part and parcel of analysis. My hands and my feet are not seperate, but they behave differently. So, when one observes, it is the same crystal clarity of a small child w an uncluttered mind. And that child's mind is not educated or brainwashed towards analysis. The child's mind has not yet been hardened completely into a dead end formatting w a rusted out architecture. And so reality for that child, until it is robbed him, is a pure and open one of tremendous inherent great potentiality, which adults no longer have. So, analysis is absolutely unrelared to this "pure" which K is pointing towards, as best he can, w useless words which are being received by the totally brainwashed. It's a shame, but ppl do not have what it takes to do such a simple thing as look w crystal clarity and then find true life and true living; which are found only while riding the crest of what is, not what was already dead 5 min. or so ago...😮

Pure observation is not in any way effected by one's past conditioning. That is a falsehood. It will be effected by their past conditioning only after the fact of pure observation having taken place. When they go to analysing what the experience was and what it all meant, as they still have not understood that the experience itself is its own meaning, and its meaning exists only in that exact moment while it is still PRESENTLY unfolding. It has no other meaning beyond that. And so these ppl still are not getting "it". The act of giving meaning to a thing is the act of destroying the beauty of the undefineable as it appears/arises countless times before ppl over the course of their lives. And every single time the indefineable does arise in them, they do nothing except go to the caking over process of interpreting from the limited consciousness position, whichbis all memory, which is always the dead and gone. Thought is assiduously asserting control once more in its interpreting of every single thing of life. Most ppl seem unable to look at the fact of it as it is unfolding. Right now has nothing to do w what is NOT right now. Clarification and classification are not the ultimate of human endeavor by far. It's extinction maybe.

K uses the verb OBSERVE, but then says there is no observer when one is authentically OBSERVING. Right? So, what could possibly go wrong? Instead of saying that there is this observation taking place which is free of ANY OBSERVER (And the observer is consciousness w all of its contents, the seperate and seperating self...anything and everything that IS NOT the pure unfolding OBSERVATION itself in the NOW, which is always of the past, obviously)...he should swap out the verb OBSERVE to using another word like AWARENESS or another word. His language is the reason why no one could do as he suggested. This is not the only issue w K's language usage as it relates to the confusion of others in attempting to understand carefully what he is saying and then DO THAT. And yes, there is no method or discipline, but one still must DO. It is not intellectual in nature. So there is this DO which must take place. That doing is the authentic use of the 5 senses (LOOKING) and the mind which senses the 5 senses. MIND not CONSCIOUSNESS. And when those sense gates and the mind are free of clutter, there is the pure field of experience itself, which is when there is no observer and nothing observed, just simply "what is". Pure just as it is, untampered with. And that "pure" is its own meaning and when that moment is gone it is gone forever. I don't care if K liked the word "experience" or not. Let's speak English and be clear about what we are discussing unless there is some reason why we should not. After 10 yrs, he should have started scratching his head about ppl's seeming confusion and made language adjustments accordingly. Instead he repeated the same thing over and over again like a broken record for 60 yrs....😮...WHY?!? There is nothing different about what he is saying than what the Zen Buddhists are saying, except K is saying do not follow the authority of another. Following the authority of another WILL indeed preclude any authentic seeing or extend one's blindness indefinitely. But in terms of K's batting average, I doubt that any more ppl have been helped by what he said than who were helped by the religions he warned us all about. Today the world is in more trouble than it ever has been. Some may not want anyone to hear the real TRUTH. But truth is forever embedded in reality itself and it can never be stopped to the complete satisfaction of a bunch of frightened techno-greedy. And god help these fools if they ever achieve their dream if total power. For in total power, they will be trapped in a permanent hell from which there is no escape. The rest of us will not be around to care about it.
