As Kiryu's old listeners all know, they use a lot of synthetic sounds from the beginning (e.g., string fillers/Japanese instruments), so much that I always think they need a keyboard player to reduce the playback in lives (though I cannot quite imagine a 6-member Kiryu cuz their current lineup seems so perfect and I want it to stay this way). I definitely agree that these synthetic sounds usually fit well and is an essential part of their music, and I am good with the increasing synthesizer in their recent songs. But I am not happy with how much more string filler is in the foreground in their remastered version of older songs. We got a good example here: 雨夜ニ笑ヱバ. In this one, the string filler perfectly eases out the extreme and beautiful creepiness in the song, which has always been the theme they are aiming for(痛绝). I understand they are going for new sounds and innovation, but I would really appreciate it if they can leave the old songs alone (vocal part being the exception). -------------end of whining---------------- I NEED THIS LIVE DVD! Those taikos is a keeper. Everybody in this one looks so happy! Junji especially! I feel like my heart flowering looking at him!
