Hi, came back to Msia 1 year ago & I really miss HK char chang teng breakfast.... ie Set A, B, C, D..... So far is there any in KL?... And I've been to a few so call HK char chang teng in KL, unfortunately I can't find back the taste as in HK 😢

馬來西亞唐人大部分都揸車出入,唔需要追地鐵返工,所以食飯啲份量唔需要咁多。

one thing for sure, i wont go to aircond restaurant to order:- instant noodles luncheon meat canned food i know many HK people are very particular about their food and comment a lot, but their favour food are seem to be Yan Ting instant noodles, anything with luncheon meat, canned fish and canned anything, I catch no balls.

Malaysian eats sandwiches too but not in a restaurant. We normally make it at home or get them from bakery. For most of us, dining out is to enjoy food that we don't cook well at home, i.e. fried beef noodles.

如果我沒記錯港飲港食曾經在berjaya time square也有一間的......去港式茶餐廳我都會點咖喱魚蛋/豬皮和碗仔翅

Ss2 cafe hk boy. The Plastic board menu on the wall with pictures & description , makes me immediately remember of FAIRWOOD , chains of food outlet in HK.

个人是极极极少光顾香港茶餐厅,因为每次进到去看了 menu 觉得没有什么自己喜欢吃的,结果又跑出来。Prefer 面是新鲜的面,绝对不是出前一丁,有午餐肉的一定不会 order (prefer 付钱买到的是新鲜的肉不是罐头),有 ham 的也不会叫,甜甜的多士、菠萝包、罗宋汤也不会叫。个人很喜欢干炒牛河,可惜发觉香港人好像很喜欢用 meat tenderiser 把牛肉弄软而弄到它不好吃了。如果我去吃,个人只会 order 干炒牛河、焗牛扒饭、奶茶而已。反而那些専卖新鲜食材如云吞面、牛肉面的个人会光顾。通粉是喜欢西式的,中式的不喜欢。纯属个人味。
HK style cafe must eat for me are HK yin yong and baked cheese pork rice.

Good tips on top 5 HK restaurants. French toast & HK milk tea top favourites! Cheese rice not on our list. Malaysians prefer sourdough sandwiches with variety of fillings
