Latino’s are taught from a young age to cater to others you love and care for. It’s a sign of respect for you to serve or cater to the person you love and respect first. So she’s definitely not young for thinking that way. She was RAISED that way. However I think when you’re someone like J-Lo who has dated very young men and lots of men in general, she’s at a point in her life where she doesn’t want to cater anymore (if she was the type to cater). If you date a lot when you’re young and aren’t with someone if you’re older, you grow impatient and don’t want to cater to someone anymore. Life changes your views. If we're being honest, if Jeannie wasn't digging deep with her "preaching" moments, the Girl Chats would be severely superficial in content and responses because each of the other hose give you the same recycled content just in new packages (i.e., "Sexy" Adrienne, "Brown Liquor and Multiple Boyfriends" Loni, "Yoooooou Tried it" Tamar, and "Sister, Sister/I Love Adam" Tamera). There's nothing wrong with the other hosts' commentary, but it's always nice to have Jeannie there doing voices of Mama Mai or "preaching" to the audience because it's fresh and you never know what you're going to get with her.

I think Tamar has a problem accepting compliments. I totally got what Jeannie was trying to say. Tamar actually has a lot of the qualities of the Proverbs 31 woman.
