​@@sandy950I guess we haven't seen a thing yet. This family is being talked about on the social media as if they were royalty. When the baby is born their fame is going to catapult to new levels. I remember when they went to buy the refrigerator, the lady who attended them said that she was happy to finally meet Lawu in person; she said that watching them on Douyin was like a TV series. So everywhere they go someone recognize Lawu more than her husband. So her contribution is immense.

@@banshong3997 I believe it has to do with many tones which are found in African languages unlike European languages. Hence it's easy for Africans to master the language quickly.

@@patoliver5585, Agree. It's only Americans like myself who speak only one language and think it's enough. I have loads of bilingual, and trilingual children and dated a polyglot. All they want to do is Live quietly here in the US. Africa is not a monolithic "country" as is sometimes ignorantly portrayed. It is a vast continent of over 50 countries, thousands of ethnic groups, and incredible linguistic, cultural, and geographic diversity. Oversimplified, derogatory narratives do a disservice to this richness. Only the ignorant would put to words and print that, to categorize, as a" "Shithole Countries". The Chinese use diplomacy and soft power, compared to the West's use of colonialization and the Trans Atlantic Slavery these are stranglehold tactics, and how could any country recover? I took Mandarin way back and wanted to cry; I enjoyed it, but it was tough. One thing I love about the University of KZbin is that folks who want to see will see that Africa, the continent, is not a "shithole country." The collaboration of Africa and China could be a good thing. While economic opportunities may arise, there are valid concerns around neocolonialism, discrimination against local populations, and exploitative business practices that need to be addressed ethically. I hope to go to my genetic homeland, but I still love and pray for its prosperity. The union of marriages of Africans and Asians could be the better way.

Have to admit I fast forwarded the goose part, it's just not for me, but it's their way of life so I accept that. Felista is looking after her sister and brother-in-law even though she's in Tanzania at the moment the family bond is strong. It's so good to see mum up and about and making her lovely dishes. I hope she has fully recovered from her sprained ankles and isn't pushing herself too much. Lawu looks as though she's reaching the end of her pregnancy. The family is excited for the arrival of their new family member and so are we,the viewers 😊

She's courageous and definitely not shy. Once she gives them the expected child, she's going to become bolder and more assertive. The shyness she displayed in the beginning was mostly due to the language barrier. What amazes me more is the fast way they fell in love with each other. I hope it wasn't all lustful passion but genuine love and admiration.
