April Rain I love him too. He was holding baby properly. Baby was holding on to his stomach. I think when everyone started to chase him, he panicked and got rough. He’s still sweet! He’s also coming into adulthood.

I ask people 24 hrs ago about Gentaro's behavior! He zseems like he wants to play with his little bro, he ends up sneaking & behaving negatively. Mom & Dad do not waste any time to grab the baby away!! They know his behavior is not loving? I love the gorillas, they are extremely smart. Fans & caregivers should have an open mind.

I think when you see him before his little brother came he was close to his mum. Now Genki eats and doesn't have much time for him. Sadly, he gets up to mischief because he wants attention.🥴

I love watching the family dynamics with them! It’s so cute to see Gentaro always touching Kintaro and willing to endure anything just to play with him. Awesome video....Gentaro is such a little Rascal....This scenario was inevitable....Big brother found a window of opportunity and tried to kidnap baby brother...lol....Kintaro went on a 2 minute ride of his life ....Gent knew he would be in trouble but like most kids thought the reward would outweigh the risk....I hope Mama doesn't hold a grudge too long ....The funny thing is I commented on a video about 2 weeks ago saying that I couldn't wait for when Mama started giving Gent a little more leadway....I commented that if Gent got a little too rambunctious that Papa as well as Mama would come to the rescue.....Momo is a great dad and an awesome role model for his boys...he watches quietly from a distance....Never overreacts, but knows exactly when the right time is to intervene....He's the big man in charge and always has his babies mama's back....Love this family ❤🙉❤🙉❤🙉❤

Leanne Carter This video helped me appreciate momotaro and Genki. When the earthquake happened she ran right to get Gentaro. Gentaro is old enough to run and protect himself. So momotaro grabbed her and moved her and the baby to the door because the structuring is stronger in old buildings by the door. Thank you for reposting. I’ve been waiting for this video! I saw it but it disappeared!!! Momotaro did a great job! He’s really coming into his leadership role. He sat right by Genki to make sure she and baby were ok after. That was scary. This is why Genki is so strict with Gentaro. He is genuine, but he can be too rough sometimes. She has to intervene for the safety of babies life!

It’s so rare that he has to act aggressive because everyone usually is calm. When he does you know something serious happened. Hes truly the greatest!

(although Gentaro is even smarter, I saw how he solved much more difficult tasks than his father) And yes, it should be noted that the behavior of Momotaro with his wife is the result of excellent intelligence. He understands a lot and tries to create comfort for her. And when he notices that she's something don't like, he always stops. For example, when he begins to play a little rude with Gentaro, he instantly(!) stops when she give him a look. He closely monitors her behavior and doesn't violate boundaries. Not every silverback will be so attentive and gentle with his wife’s feelings.

Sandy right, momotaro according to the zoo is overweight lol he has to do frequent test too make sure he doesn’t have a heart attack, but he moves with so much ease. I want to see more of what happened too. If one of the Instagram pages caught another angle you know I’ll share it here so we all can see lol I know I heard Gentaro screaming and the lighter screams could have been the baby or Genki. One of the visitors heard Genki scream and apparently in distress she sounds like a baby.

Loved watching the family sit together in the sandbox. So many people can't go the different zoo's and sanctuaries, around the world, for all kinds of reasons. These videos makes us feel like we are there watching these families grow up thru the years. I live in Canada and this is my favorite gorilla family throughout the world but I may never be able to travel to Japan These videos have provided hundred of hours of entertainment. I think this was the only time Gentaro actually succeeded in kidnapping his baby brother lol. He was holding his brother actually pretty gently from what I could see that is until mom and dad cornered him. I think he just wanted to have a chance holding his brother. Gentaro,Gentaro! I don’t think he wants to hurt Kintaro. Gentaro is just full energy and mischief. Poor Genki is older and a sitting duck basically. I don’t think Kintaro is even scared when he gets swiped. Just glad he has caught on as to how to hold Kintaro instead of dragging him. Glad Momotaro came to the rescue because Genki can’t chase that speed racer Gentaro. Not gonna lie I laughed.

Great video! We all knew Gentaro was going to kidnap Kintaro. We know Genki was cursing him out in her head.. "Oh you little Bastard! Get back here boy! Oh you are going to get it now!" LOL! Gentaro thinking.. "WHEEEEE! GOT HIM! HA,HA!!" And Dad thinking... "Oh shit, Here we go!" How cool was Dad to step in then sit with Genki and Baby to protect them and show Gentaro Dad's on guard and to back off. Glad Genki sat with Dad and just wish he could have gotten a touch of the baby for being such a great Daddy! Momotaro is such a great match for Genki. He gives her and the baby the space, respect and protection they need but doesn't miss a thing. Wonderful video! Thank you so much GG!!!

@@grandmap3389 , LOL! I know Dear! Cant wait to see what other shenanigans Gentaro tries to drive Mom and Dad crazy! Seems Sweet Gentaro is done "asking" and figures he has to grab and run to get some cuddles from Kintaro. It was funny when he was holding him @ 1:07 and when Mom approached Gentaro was thinking..."NOPE! Not done yet! See ya!" Running away. We know to read Moms thoughts would have been X-RATED! But, all was fine and shocked it took Gentaro this long to pull that stunt. Dad is on guard now too, but I don't think Gentaro will stop and may now see this as a game and his only entertainment. ;-)

De volta ao passado... Gentaro rouba Kintaro de Mamãe Genki, provando que ela está certa quando não o deixa sozinho com o bebê. Gentaro foge e corre com o bebê, Genki o persegue e Momotaro rápido pega Gentaro, o bebê assustado grita muito, mamãe recupera o bebê e o amamenta protegida por Momotaro, quando é pra defender o filhote eles mostram que são um casal.
