Concerns for crime or addressing crime, doesn't fall on the police, county sheriff, or constables. It falls on the county district courts, county courts, and the county prosecutors office. They and they alone have failed the community with their soft handed practices and woke diversion programs.

I'll give him a year. Being a Ranger and a Chief are two different animals. Most retired Rangers run for Shieriff.

Nice talk here. All sounds nice but let's see what this talk leads to. None of this matters when the officers apprehend and arrest bad people and those same people are out the back door within a day . All criminals being released. There is alot of fixing that needs to be done. Clean house completely. Maybe vote 🗳 accordingly to change all this. Montgomery county and Fort Bend don't have that problem of criminals being released.
