i know this is not in the lyrics, but at 2:40, i distinctly hear jonsi sing "we are all meant to go...home." maybe i'm hearing it wrong (i most likely am), but to me it feels like a small nudge, a small sign, that i meant to go home, back to my true home, which is iceland.
