Still confused how UPMC Health Plan fully insured makes payments to UPMC hospitals, they are basically shifting money from right hand to left hand. I currently work at one of their hospitals (though I'm not an employee), and large if not most our patients are under UPMC or UPMC Managed Medicaid.
